this game makes me happy and mad. it makes me mad because you can not control your car. i like it because it is rcing game and you get to destroy stuff in the road:)

This game annoys me. It's impossible to not drift, but more often than not drifting hurts you. It's also very inconsistent with how sharp your turns are. Sometimes I'll fly around a corner and hit the outside; sometimes I'll hit the inside due to a turn being unexpectedly sharp. Once you get to the 5th and 6th levels, some of the challenges are crazy. You need ABSOLUTE PERFECTION to beat the race in the time needed for the challenges. Additionally, I'm not even sure that there are any more than 40 objects on race 6. The inconsistencies of skidding make it difficult to do the 200 skid thing and the CPU racers oftentimes knock you into cones/barriers/jumps when you're trying to avoid them (though those seem to be possible enough) and the collision detection being too generous just makes it worse.
Simply not fun.

For all of you struggling to get the 200 skid on track 5: Tapping the arrow key instead of holding it down allows for a sharper turn while still skidding. Start your skid before the second turn and you should be able to get it.

I also dig the game to a degree, especially the music (bravo to whoever put it together). My problems with it are two-fold. One, the controls just don't 'totally' cut it (it demands some type of brake/e-brake). Second, the game "fights" itself in that it's a drift/race game but you can't do both. If you want to drift you have to get away from all other racers or they just screw you up all-the-way. If you want to race, you can't go for big drifting as it wastes too much "race time". Also minus for banana peels throwing you around on mud/dirt tracks (just annoying). 3/5 but looking forward to next installment.

its alright i guess, a little to easy for the first 3 badges though. and the "clean race" and "stay on road" things are retarded. 3/5

To be honest I think this is a terrible racing game. Who's bright idea was it to promote bad driving skills? The best way to win a race is by hitting walls, which in my book is just dumb. Also, the randomly placed items are just that, random. If this game had some sort of style type event or free run mode, it might have been a little better.

Paletti: start a skid just before the big ol' s bend and try to keep sideways for as much of that as possible. It's definitely doable!

I dunno...was alright i guess. Not very fun, and you kinda just drift all over the place, plus it wasn't hard to win at all, you could mess around and hit whatever you wanted, get all the coins, and still finish first easy.

I really struggled with this game until I started earning enough for the upgrades, and then it got a bit easier to win a race. Still hard, but achievable.

A game for one time. When i read some of the achivements you need to do to complete objective i knew i won't get all badges. I don't want to waste any more of my time then i already did going through this game once.

Being able to turn the music off only from in-race is annoying - as is the weird form of menu screens that show you the prerace screen following a race, but instead of starting the race, 'ok' just takes you to the menu. This is weird, and mildly annoying.

The controls are easy, just learn how to drift, it isn't that hard. and bananas aren't that difficult to navigate through.

This has a throw back to the topdown arcade game racers. I like those and therefore throughly enjoyed this game. Those of you think this going to be anything Colin Mcraey, or however the hell you say it, or for some reason think that all racing games should be like PGR or gran turismo are just naive. Btw, those who are complaining about the controls...the name the freaking game is "DRIFT RACERS". lern2read.

I'm so tired of sliding fourty feet when i just want to manuver to one side just a little bit. And don't even get me started on the bananas! I ran into one patch, and my car spun around four times befoure I could go any where!
