Catpaw, you said '"headshot", Does involve *Shooting* not slicing. I mean simplest grammar logic.' Actually, that would be a semantical error, not a grammatical.
The game is a lot better than some games out there with badges. Especially the ones Kongregate "dug-up" during that hidden treasure week. It's an easy 51 points (including ranking it) so just finish it and leave it alone.

i know a bug when theres a treasure on the map that you can travel to it double click on it and then you can choose from two optionsd from the treasure chest

the boss is kinda hard because
if you wana kill him slash him he will jump when he is at air he is varneble .
so attk him when he is coming down>.<

It's there to be enjoyed Catpaw, not analyzed. The catapult, while yes, it's not feasible, is however a different dimension on the battle field that breaks up the click and drag slicing. Oh, and grammar or not, I would have thought headshot would have been apparent, seeing as you can see the things flying off in the first level or 2. I think you'll find it can also mean "blow to the head"

Very well done game. It was fresh and new gameplay, something I've been longing to see in flash games.
Not all that challenging. Just slash your way through whole levels. But if you really want to enjoy your game, don't do that.
Only a few complaints. The bow was just a hassle to use. Only used it once and that's when it was required. Wish the strategy part of the game had been a little more in depth. It was like a really watered down risk.
All in all, great game.

It's a original concept and yishan, show me those other samurai hack n' slashes, cause i don't think they compare to this one.
Badges could be harder, and the repetative part? Most games are repetative, sjeez

I completely agree with Yishan.
The game is probably overrated ONLY because it has a samurai in it, which idiots think instantly make it cool. Sure Japanese culture is interesting, including history and warfare, but it the only reason this game has over three stars.

IMHO this game is stupid, "headshot", Does involve *Shooting* not slicing. I mean simplest grammar logic. Also "to defeat the catapult hit it back in the balls".... oh yes, How retarted does that sound?

The game froze for me at the boss fight, my character stuck in running, while the boss ran around trying to hit me... good game apart from that. 4/5

For some reason, I'm sick of all the samurai hack n' slash reptitive games. However, its worse. This Straw Hat Samuria comes with an interesting concept (not good though) on a different way to kill your enemies. The creator's attempt on making a versatile and multi-genre game is awful. Strategy mode is a complete waste of time, there's barely even any strategy involved in it, because of the many units you get. The bow is just plain annoying, hard to shoot, and a pain in the ass to take out all the archers in the towers, and its not even helpful. There's no place to refill health and the treasure chests don't explain the upgrades of "hit points" or "Chance to Dodge."The enemies are just usually involve no fun at all, the idea of "Coup De Grace" and slow motion head shots at first seem epic and cool, but slowly turn into a pain. Overall, its an ovverrated game on Kongregate, thats being overlooked due to its challenge and easy badges.

Only played it because of the challenge, I dont normally like fighting games... I really enjoyed this and finshed it :D the strategy bit did seem a bit tacked on but eh, I like strategy, and it was different to how it normally works. Nice little game, I do hope you make more missions and that they aren't too hard for a noob like me :)

5-5 FOR ME, i COMPLETED BOSS WAS TO EASY THOUGH. DON'T LIKE THE GAME AT THE END. REMINDS ME OF THE WII THOUGH HEHE SORRY FOR CAPS. :$

The boss was fun, try slashing him, he'll jump, and click and hold a slash in the path right below him when he lands the jump, and u'll land a hit. 3 of em and it'll do.

The boss fight is annoying, but then ridiculously easy once you figure out the "strategy". I was under the impression that the boss being in the air=dodging, seeing as he did that, to, y'know, avoid my hits (aka dodge) when he was on the ground. Considering WHILE HE IS DODGING an opening to hit does not really strike me as intuitive at all, especially as the game doesn't ever show evidence of recognizing high hits as going into the air (i.e., if you draw diagonally up, you still come out of it on the ground). Okay game, cool concept, but it needs more to it than just drawing lines in such a way to hit guys in the head and avoid shields, culminating in a boss fight that has nothing to do with actual skill. Add more variety of special moves that take different sorts of lines (diagonal, maybe some shapes like Vs etc.), and possibly change the movement to arrow keys with some sort of jump function.
