Double points means you get 10 points for beating the challenge and then you get 10 points for finishing it by doing the advertisement.

now that was hell weird i thought about playing this old game again the other day and here it is with badges :P easy and good fun.
to kill the catapult just hit back one of the boulders.
to kill the warlord hit him while his in the air.

the double pits to chesty is not 'in game' - after you complete the badge by beating level 10, a figure with instructions shows up in the achievement window - which you complete in the achievement window. Just an advertising gimick.
