The game is pretty awesome, especially considering it was made ten years ago. The movement is kinda slow but I don't mind that, it helps give a feeling of calmness and precise slashes.
The only thing I disliked was that the slash control gets unresponsive half of the time. It is very annoying when there are archers in the corner.

movement in the game sux, you have to do a little slash to move about. My biggest problem is when a slash goes off the edge of the game screen it doesn't count when I release and I draw a line all over the screen until I click again

Unfortunately, moving the mouse out of the screen results in your attack being canceled (with the line just sitting there). Makes the game rather hard to play. I don't think it was always this way...?

Could there be upgrades of the character? He's moving at the same pace as Dr Nefario. I know ninjas are silent, but they aren't t-h-i-s s-l-o-w.

Somehow glitched the final battle...can't deal damage or receive damage...guys just keeps trying to hit me.
Overall the game is interesting concept, but the controls aren't very practical.

Second worse game controls I've ever experienced.
For the curious, the worse being a Brøderbund U-Force - hard to beat that, but this game comes close.

The controls with the arrow are brutally bad. Have no idea why how to avoid getting stabbed when they are coming at you, even though I'm slashing, still getting hit. And the inability to move without clicking (so the click is the slash AND the move) is a huge miss. Interesting concept, but missing some critical finishing touches. 3/5

Managed to infected 2/3 of the population(Including Japan, US, Australia) and immunity to vaccines, yet 0 deaths. Think the game needs an update on lethality.

I beat the game and got all the badges...But I still wouldn't be able to tell you how I was able to defeat all those shield guys.

Missed many hits because of lag or the mouse going out of the game window... But had many fun playing and doing ninja yells at each slash x)

To win last level, pause by pressing space, then adjust the screen. Then quickly unpause and slash him. Do this 3 times.

kinda bad if the strategy section stats when you don't want. what if you rushed the gate and didn't get all the boxes?
Plus, if you get in on the turn the gate closes, it's weird

Hey as others said, don't draw outside the game, but also another tip: Instead of clicking to move, attack to move, the samurai will run quickly towards the attack you draw, so use that :)

If the mouse pointer leaves the game screen area while drawing the samurai won't react, just stand there getting murdered. This is a game breaking level bug.

Just brutal. Clicking off the screen doesn't work and screen scrolling is slow. I'm at the edge of the screen and can't do anything but take damage. This makes the game unplayable. 1/5

So you can only recover health if you choose to add +10 Hit Points and you can only find them in like 5 chests in the starting area? Ok, that seems perfectly alright, I didn't want to heal or anything.

Like the game especially since it was cutting edge for it's time. Sadly I suck at bows and can't get the other bowmen out of the tower.

Ok how can you not hate this game? Controls do not respond half of the times, the scroller thing just makes all harder than it should be and the final boss jumps on purpose out of the view. One of the worst game i've played!

Wow, one of the oldest games on Kongregate. It came out over 10 years ago. For a game made back then, it was one of the better ones.

I hate how the enemies stick to the sides and if your mouse goes off the screen at any point you can't attack so you take 8 hits before you can attack again.

I think it was a poor decision to have a screen that scrolls given that you can't control your samurai's movement except by using the mouse and you have to use the mouse to look around as well. It's also aggravating that the samurai won't attack if I create a slash with him off screen.

Game is not bad, but please fix:
- Boss jumping outside of the screen 90% of the time,
- Samurai freezing
- Dash not working after you click
With these 3 it becomes nearly impossible to finish the game

Last boss jumps outside the screen, rally hard to kill if you can't target him, please make him always visible.
Got stuckl on last boss, i tried to hit him on air while he was jumping outside the screen and now samurai is frozen, can't die or kill!!

I'm getting a problem where i draw the line but he just walks back and forth, 1st one works and after that depends on my luck. Anyone having the same issue?
