Description
Something is loose on the network. Build a cyber-security firm from one
intern to a planet-spanning SOC and hunt down every virus on it.
ANTI-VIRUS is an idle game built for the long haul. Hire twenty kinds of
security staff, deploy twenty kinds of network appliances, and build your
own computers from real parts โ match the CPU socket, match the memory
standard, cover the wattage โ then rack them in a growing datacenter. Ten
families of computer viruses each shrug off different kinds of damage, APT
bosses arrive on a thirty-second clock, legendary malware specimens drop for
your Quarantine Vault, and when you hit a wall you sell the company for
Reputation and come back stronger. A searchable in-game handbook (press H)
explains every system.
In-game purchases: an optional shop sells permanent convenience items for
Kreds (automation, extra contract slot, longer offline time, themes, a
founderโs badge). Nothing sold increases damage; the game is fully playable
for free.
Target age rating: Everyone (all ages). Abstract computer-virus combat with
no blood or gore, no strong language, no gambling, no chat or user-generated
content.
AI declaration: the gameโs code, balance simulation and in-game text were
written with the help of an AI assistant, directed and play-tested by the
developer. No AI-generated art assets are used; all graphics are drawn
procedurally in code and sound is synthesised.
How to Play
We have a handbook in game that describes everything about the game. Please look there for help on how to play.
Developer Updates
Update balance overhaul v0.0.2
- Computers need infrastructure. Each rig needs a network port (Blades need 2) and one staff member per 2U of rack space. Rigs that are short run at 25%, and a new Infrastructure card in the Datacenter shows whatโs missing. The โ300 servers on a 4-port home routerโ setup no longer works.
- Certification and firmware tiers. New cards on the Team and Network tabs; a tier unlocks every 4 levels and boosts all your staff or appliances, so they keep pace with new hardware.
- Staff and appliance lists never run out. After the 20 named roles, Grade II, III and so on keep coming. The lists ending around level 170 was the main reason computers took over.
- Sharper resistances. Families take ร2.5โ3 from their weakness and ร0.2โ0.25 from what they resist. Polymorphic, Fileless and Synthetic are each immune to one type. No family resists both computer types, so a firm with all four types always has a way through.
- Super-viruses, Every 50th level, only one type gets through. The others deal 10% until level 200 and nothing after, and the needed type rotates Signature โ Network โ Heuristic โ Neural. They have a gold shield in the colour of the type that works, a banner like โSUPER-VIRUS ยท NET ONLYโ, 30 extra seconds, bigger payouts, and 3ร the specimen chance.
- Smarter automation. Auto-buy now spends on whatever the hardest current or upcoming virus is weak to, and keeps rigs supplied with ports and admins.

My single intern is running my quinquavigintillion dollar rig, consisting of three hundred servers each of which has more RAM than there are stars in the universe on a single standart 4 port home router.
That's 1 awesome Intern :)

It's clean, addictive, and fun. Honestly, it's everything I look for in an idle game!

i put 5 stars... i usually don't. BUT, it's simple and automation isn't locked through multiple prestiges ! it's not overwhelming and also the design does not hurt the eyes of those who aren't lucky enough to not fall into "eppilepsy" category... thanks dev !
Hello, Thank you for the review! I'm glad to see others enjoying my game. :)

Loving the game, but seriously, aren't computers really, really overpowered? Nothing else seems to matter.
i agree and just updated to the new version, let me know what you think :)
