Pretty fun game, the only problem I have with it is how harsh the penalty is for missing even one gate.. it's like a 50% speed reduction and your multiplier goes down to nothing.

i always get 3 death gates in a row and i lose my 50x multiplier because i dont reach a green gate in time. You should get multiplier for dodging the death gates.

woh, i got 5 tunnels in a row right at the begining, top speed of around 92km, then i missed 2 green gates and my speed immediatly droped to 30is lol

This is one of the most original ideas on Kong in a while, and the soundtrack for both life and death heightens the experience accordingly. Some parts of the gameplay I didn't quite like, mostly the death gates, as well as your multiplier resetting when you miss a gate. There's something about the graphics that just wants to make me squeal, but I agree with many others when I say that this game needs achievements. A 4/5.

Things I would change in the game would have to be not losing your multiplier, even if you miss some gate, just take one or two. Also, I don't really like how if you fail at the jumps you die, what I mean is that if you fail at them you should get a checkpoint option that you start there.... What I really like is how you start the game. :D

When you make a jump you sometimes miss a gate by an inch when you land and, well, that sucks. "/ Not fun when you lose a heavy multiplier because of that.
I would have liked a free run mode and an option to not lose the headphones, otherwise great game!
Oh, and also, here's a lil' tip for all of yah: If you want to pick up some multipliers and a little speed at very beginning, make some U-shapes ;p

Read the tips (They really help), and then have at it. Those were the easiest 50 points I have ever received on Kongregate. Very original game, great concept, awesome music (and even more awesome when you break mach speed and can't hear it :P). I think I even once saw headphones fall off the slopeskier and I was wondering what that black object that fell flew past me was. + if you agree that this game hands down is amazing.

Another thing about this game: why do you slow down when you miss a gate?!?! I mean, I know it's a game, and I like it, but that just doesn't make any sense to me.

One of the most Addicting games on Kong! Great music, Awsome physics and all around good concept!! I can see a bunch of spin off games based on this. Great job 6/5!

I think that the music should actually stop once the skier loses his headphones and all you hear is wind noise for some time then once you slow way down the music should kick back in.

also, when you pass tunnels, it's okay to miss a gate or two. just don't miss a lot, and your multiplier won't start over. the more you hit, the more points you get.

it is actually possible to reach all 3 green gate positions from the middle,that way its very easy to get combos over 100,I got the hard achievement first time i tried this.

ok, i think i get it now. the multiplier is how many gates you can pass without putting too much time in between each one (aka don't slow down too much). if you miss a gate, it starts over EXCEPT for if you're above the screen at that moment, in which case your multiplier stays the same (and you get a little orange/purple star.you also get 2 points if it's your first gate on a multiplier, or if you pass it in mid-air (not off-screen). the same rules apply for tunnels, except the multiplier is added slower (not 1 for each gate- that would be crazy easy).

ok something weird just happened. i started my cursor on the far right of the screen and my guy died instantly. For some reason it gave me the 70 k/m achievement, was it a glitch?

I wish there was a way to turn off jumps and red gates. They come too fast and I wipe out because I wasn't ready for them.

Ye olde newbie guide:
1) Get speed and multiplier for passing THROUGH the green gates. 2) You only get points for jumping over green gates if you are off screen. 3) Shake your hands a lot: the more slopes the more speed. 4) Stop painting snow to make the character jump through the gates giving you bonus 2 multipliers and twice the speed you'd get usually.
