Just won the Rising Threat Badge - SIGH!!! The Arena Grinder was a nightmare. If I blocked a physical attack of him, he promptly would crunch me mentally, and vice versa. Can't say exactly how I beat him finally - suppose it must have almost been by some undefined magic.
Great game, however. My character is psionic, loved him right from the start.

woot! i passed it finally, the last boiss is hard not because of deathwatch but because of the combos it uses, he is practically invincible for about 5 secsw, nothing you can do

OMG just found out glitch in game if your on krax the last boss with a magic guy put of your wall of atoms instant cast just as the fight starts and you will deflect his deathwatch.... the rest is easy

A meritful game: the first of this sort, which I've understood the instructions for. No endless sagas to be read before you can start; fluent gameplay. I'll try to get further.

Engineer combo if you're having trouble-Groin Kick, Flamethrower, Mechanical Bug (if you have one), Bionic Arms, then wail on them with your gun. Works like a charm

Wanted to like this game, strategy is right up my alley, but with no clear route to self-improvement if you're just bad at it, it gets a tiny bit frustrating. Maybe an option to pummel lower-level enemies for reduced profit? Might push it towards grinding territory, but could give some idiots like me some help.

Only gotten to level 2 but seems to be a great game. Fighting abilities and equipment seem to have a lot of opportunities for strategy, I also like that the fighting is real time over turn based. 4/5.

None of them are that hard, juggernaut was tougher than the rest (which I did first). The other two I didn't lose to the last boss one time.
