If you have the zombie upgrade that gives you a zombie when you get a kill, you can get nine zombies from a cat with the nine lives upgrade.

you shall make different classes that uses guns gunner is just too balanced
they would be like:sniper gun:sniper rifle (duh) slow but pierces enemies even if not upgraded hits always. gunslinger guns:2 revolvers very fast and shoots twice but isn't very powerful.heavy weapons expert: gun:cannon or mortar very powerful but slow can hit many targets at time

If I get enough support, I'll do Class Overviews on all the classes, plus more in-depth guides on my profile and Survival and Multiplayer strategies, even a full list of the items in the game ^_^

Class Overview: Chargers are frontline fighters, first in to deal heavy damage and set some fires, and last to leave the battlefield. With exemplary self-healing capabilities, counters, damage upgrades, and good death skills, a Charger is a good addition and leader to any family. The ultimate skill, Omega Strike, will deal 5x the damage on the next attack and set fire to the enemy.

final piece of my comment....
d) 4x first attack is too much. It should only be 3x max.
e) I guess I should have a matching team of "kids" who have like 50%+ projectile dodge capabilities.... but without such a team... beating these shooters would be near impossible.

Continued from last post....
c) The stun bonus should not also be applied to other types of attacks for the shooter (4x first hit bonus, abilities etc). For instance, the 4x first attack or whatever should not also add a stun bonus to the hit. If I get hit with three of these from the shooters.... which I am... almost all my HP is gone and I haven't even been able to do a move because my timer keeps getting reset due to the stun. Also, once a player's action queue is activated... a stun shouldn't deactivate it. This is happening a lot because the computer attacks lightning fast so I don't even have the chance to click attack before they fire off another shot and then my ability to attack is gone..... the stun factor definitely makes this character way imbalanced considering the other bonuses and the range it takes to close distance.

Retired SWAT brothers are basically unbeatable...
The multiplied HP boost of 50 added with the range distance to even touch them is out of control. I am not even killing one of them before getting wasted. This leads me to the following conclusion.
a) there should be a short range penalty for shooters. When I'm attacking a shooter at melee range with one of my units, which takes multiple turns... their bullets should do less damage or have a % chance of missing altogether.
b) There should be a closing the gap bonus for the first couple of turns if the enemy is using all ranged units against you. Like you get at least one extra square movement for the first couple of turns for all melee units.

certain upgrades and abilities in the game are overpowered. for example, having the zombie able to summon three 105 hp partners in just cheap. especially in survival. i once got about 20 zombies on the screen at once. also, the stunning in this game is too unfair. from what i get, you can continuously stun up to two different units at once, making your team impossible to beat.

Ah. Well, luckily I have a ton of hope to add to that 33%. Thanks, Nerdook. And seriously, this is one of the best games you've made, and I play every one of your games.

Lolisito is actually right (don't know why you guys downrated him), my thrower's damage is not increased by equipping a goldfish bowl.

How do you get the items O.o
Saw one on level, clicked on it, moved character up to it, finished level . . . did not get item D:

What are the chances of getting an item you don't own? I'm 2 from 50, and getting that wedding ring was an exercise. (Literally had to custom make a team to take own a player-made group that had it). Is it item dependent, slot dependent, survivor dependent.... Straight 33% chance for each item and you hope you get the one you don't have?

@samurai482 "3D overhead fighting system" "If you want to make a "proper" turn based strategy" Well, a "3D overhead fighting system" is (as far as I know) a ""proper" turn based strategy"

Oh I do miss the old carefree music playing in the background while bashing neighbors' heads in. Humorous contrast. Any particular reason for the music direction change?

Bruisers are very powerful units that can deal massive amounts of damage while also absorbing enemy attacks. Their abilities all deal with hitting multiple enemies with equal damage. This let's them have a huge advantage because they can tank hits and heavily bombard all units in range. Their upgrades all deal with melee, making them extra powerful at close combat. They can stun, punch twice, absorb, and destroy enemy units. However, they are extremely slow and are usually only meant for defense, not offense.

I despise this game with all my soul, when I saw the game on the hot new games list, I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo exited, but then we got this crap, we went from a free equip-weapon, 2D sidescroll fighting system to a level based, class-based, 3D overhead fighting system, WTF happened!!! Why couldn't you make it like the last, If you want to make a "proper" turn based strategy, why call it deadly neighbors 2 if it's nothing related to it. 1/5
