I love your games! I wish I could replay levels and make money though. Not sure how that would affect game balancing issues, but it's a nice thought.
Also you make the best games, would you ever consider making something like Dungeon Keeper or Evil Genius style of gameplay?

I feel like the prevalence of RPG elements have spoiled people a little so that instead of trying new strategies or combinations of units, they think the solution has to be grinding to be the max level. Leveling actually doesn't make a huge difference in this game, but unit selection does, and the latest most expensive units can be vulnerable to things from previous levels, hence why you have people complaining about tanks being killed by snipers, and why I try to keep my light unit till the very end.

The game was kinda ... meh, it was easy and boring, yet unfair and hard.
If you were Zerg Rushing (Lots of the tier 1 units), Mortars were just a straight up hard counter and I only won because I got a few shots off on the enemy Leader.
I'd rather sit up and replay missions and get the correct unit composition I need for the next enemy, than just upgrading my existing units, hoping that I can out-mass them (which I could).
Overall, it's a neat concept, but it needs some work and some more thought put into it.

oh nm, just lose the battle and you get the cash anyway. i think you shouldnt have to fire units though, maybe jsut put them on standby so you can keep leveling them...

Game would be better if you could re-play old mission to save up more money before attempting new missions. Without max level units on a map, ur toast, and often that will be the case.

additionally..its either your units have the strategic advantage or they dont...so win or lose simply because of that....the whole territory opening up is a cool idea but not well executed
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i was expecting i would actually need to strategize when i was playing....no i just sent all my units whenever available and towards the enemy base...never lost once....ie EASY GAME...boring

ok, another nerdook game! What's here is really good, but it needs more! It's to short (should be more solar systems), and needs a freeplay mode. Lack of a free play mode IS wierd, since it seems to me that would be easy to enable. Possibly some of these aspects could be fixed? 4/5

@joemama1512
you get enough cash each level to mix up your troops.
Also your sniper should be able to take out those turrets as well as your tanks if placed well...
yes you need a new strategy, that is if your intellect can come up with one

No room for extra bots. It is BS when I have 3 tanks, 1 rocket, 1 sniper but its useless against a bot that has 2 cheezy ass rocket launcher turrets. So I have to scrap ALL my tanks to try a new strategy? BS.

This game is addictive and fun. Only problem, I think the constant damage numbers is lagging the hell out of my PC. Its impossible to use that fast forward button because it actually slows everything down. I primarily use all gunships as well.

Why can't I get in a mission?
(I click on the planet but the game will not load it?) .
I may be nooby but I will be nooby FOREVER if you don't help me... lol

I think merc's should be humans, and they're looks should be randomized, but uniform selected by player and... Do i want too much?

ok gonna try something else. overall great concept!!! love the idea of the drop pods etc.. cant wait for iteration #2!

Now that's a pretty cool game, short and enjoyable, and has some replay value. Tip: after completing the game for the first time, choose "Retire Quietly", which means you start over but can keep one squad of your current army. No, you can't accumulate an all-elite force by redoing the campaign five times, you can always keep only one squad. Take a Walker for maximum firepower and versatility. Also, always keep at least one squad of Light Infantry throughout the game as these are the only ones you can deploy every turn. Also, one squad of Rocket Infantry is a good idea in most encounters. If enemy has airpower, pick Rocket Sentry. Samurai are also pretty good. I don't bother with Aerial units myself, except if I see the enemy has nothing to shoot down aircraft. Other units to avoid: Sentry, Tank, Shield Drone. For special qualities, I prefer extended attack range or anything that increases damage.

It makes sense for orbital bombardment to hate the enemies if you assume its the government sending ships to help you blast the enemies. That just goes to show how poor an aim the government has though.
