What's up with everyone claiming light infantry make this game a breeze? Any time the opponent fields even a single tank, your infantry do absolutely squat offensively and then die off in droves.

I may be wrong, but I think when you speed up the game the rate at which the capsules on the ground releases enemies stays the same speed. In other words, they don't get out as fast. This is obnoxious...

Easy way to end the game... 1. Have light 5 merchants from the beginning till the level before the last level (Always upgrade the upgradeable units)... 2. At the last level, buy 2 of the big robots with long feet (I forgot the name because i'm using a different computer from the one i used while playing the game... At the last level... all you have to do is Put your big robots to where the enemy big robots are coming then at 1 light ally with them then the 1 ally left will be used to attack the boos... as the light units refresh... 1 each big robot again and 1 directly to the boss... and so on...

This game can get ridiculously overwhelming pretty fast, my opponent had 15 turrets at the end of a battle which he wound up losing because of the orbital bombardment gimmick.

After a certain amount of time following deployment the units suddenly return to me and then... spaz out, running back and forth aimlessly.
Also, lag city. There wasn't even this much lag playing a level of a certain other game where the POINT was to create lag. This is definitely not lagtastic. It's unplayable.

Great fun, but I had one *big* UI issue: I consistently hit the "start level" button when I wanted to swap out mercs. Normally, this would be a minor inconvenience, but I apparently only have three lives before...something happens. I don't know what that is, but I've already started four levels on accident and lost two of them.

most units on the opposing force are to strong to destroy with units provided, even with proper configurations of units your unable to defeat them. however the music is calming and very nice and the battle music fits perfectly. the graphics are very fitting for this type of game as well. Even the pictures used to desplay the units where well drawn. over all i would give it a 4/5

Large bug in game: All armies that come from other players do not have any of their side bonus effects. Such as +33%HP, or +30% Dodge, or +Max Damage bonuses. None of the player armies have these working. Another small bug, if you refresh your browser when the game gives you the final choice to Retire or go Rogue, the game on reload will no longer have any bounties and you are stuck with 0 bounties and nothing to fight. 3rd bug, speeding the game up causes all multiple drop pods to release their units too slow. Most noticable with Light infantry as they take 2 turns to finish.

I just beat the entire game without losing once using only light infantry. The only game I ever went to orbital strikes was the last one. It might be an understatement to say that there are some balance issues......

3/5 right now because it forces you to restart your game after beating level 9. I really like how in your other games there are options to continue past the final level or replay levels, but sadly that feature isn't in this game.

Nerdook you're nuts. You somehow manage to turn out 1 of these a month and most are actually fun. Personally I'm not a fan of turn based games but I'll play it just cause you made it.

Well, Lights CAN win hard in the right situations...in level 7, I got my ass kicked three times until I had to use two rockets and a bomber just to get by...with enraging ease... :( Still, this game rewards switching your strategy up...which sucks because you can get really attached to your teams. XD

I don't see how to do well in this game. You have a limited supply of money to buy troops, and it's impossible to max out units each level with this limited money. You also need to buy new troops, so it's entirely money based. The new troops are all completely random, so it's really the luck of the draw. Finally, should you lose, they take away your money, making it even more limited. 3/5 at best, I don't see any strategic value in this game.

So... I captured all 9 fugitives, and i didn't get the badge... I reloaded the page, still no badge.. It keeps saying best so far: 3. Send me a message if you can help.. Thanks in advance!

Uh, there's a bit of a problem with the speed up button. It doesn't speed up the deployment rates of pods that drop multiple troops (such as light infantry). This is problematic because everything else moves at the sped up rate, which means you can get troops deploying a turn later than they would have if the speed were at the default value.

So, I decided to see how balanced this game was...It definitely could use some fine tuning. I used the nothing but light troops, upgraded them, then sent them to victory. They DESTROYED everyting in their path up until level 9. I adjusted and used one walker and a hive. Their fast spawning time just kept overwhelming the enemy. You really shouldn't be able to dominate with one particular troop. Just my .02. Great game though...I've played through several times.

This game is awesome! And yes, a skirmish/freeplay mode would be most excellent. Especially if you add in varying difficulties, and allow the player to edit how many unit choices each team gets.
My tactic is a combination infantry zerg rush. Fast, and ridiculously effective. Im averaging out at beating most enemies with 5-7 turns until orbital bombardment.

thank you for yet another excellent game, Nerdook. yeah. a freeplay mode would be good. how about a randomizer also? random units to random opponents so that when you keep playing it stays unpredictable! 5/5! bravo, sir.

My strategy was to have 1 of each sentry and have 1 walker and 1 samurai
Reason? Sentry basically annihilate everything that gets near it, the mortars weaken them off, samurai's get more area to place more sentry and walker stalls the attacking stuff while sentries polish them off =)
I slowly moved up until my mortars were in range and slowly killed off the boss

This game is kind of kool but has some terrible flaws...
IE. the changing around a teams makeup, lack of contorl of the units, unless units

Orbital Bombardment hates your opponent :P Other than that, this game has potential, but it's way too short. Sandbox mode would be great, or endless mode (when you kill an opponent, another one takes its place) I would've liked to see some more units, although a swarming strategy can defeat everything, seeing as the best unites take a lot fo cooldown turns. I placed 4 hives and a light infantry in my squadron and pummeled the 9th bounty hunter.

This game is tremendously fun. However, the unit balance is a bit... interesting. I was able to clear all but the last level using four light infantry and a rocket sentry (bonus from a previous clear). It shouldn't take the introduction of the most powerful unit in the game to defeat a basic swarming strategy.

I really love this game, but I think it deserves a sandbox mode. Atm I quite limited by money, which makes it impossible to really radicalise your team. I would like to have multiple opponents per level. as it is the game is too short. Fantastic game though.
