Certainly something a little different.
Cons: Control isn't the tightest. Especially if you're using melee, that can hurt. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't some little extra something there at the end for players who track down the canister, but not a big deal. Overall, I couldn't find too much to nitpick. A fairly good time spent. :D
P.S. On the playthrough where I *finally* found Anna (and escaped; last time I found her I didn't have enough time to get back to the ferry ;_; ), she was hanging herself, with another armed survivor in the room fending off a zombie or two. Your random generation coding certainly gives one stories to fill the blanks in with at times. ^^

Great great game. Needs a fix or two here but awesome besides. Good time limit, nice weapons, nice little tid bit story with the virus, and nice twist to the usual zombie shooter. Controls need a little work, music could do a little variety but still good game. 4/5

Well done. One patch has resolved all my issues with the game; it's now excellent across the board, well implemented, and I look forward to having a hour to play through it a second time. Best part: the developer specifically notified me that he had updated a new version. That's classy. 5/5.
Complaints about spawning on top of zombies are largely unfounded; it's a risk that is readily apparent and can be prepared for, and should not be considered a game design flaw.

lol, I finally found the virus. It was on the very last square on the very last street I checked. Anyways, in the process I managed to complete all of the mini games and kill almost 1000 zombies and then I got the high score. :D

Death should NOT be this big a setback, ESPECIALLY when it's a game this dependent on luck. I spawned on top of zombies countless times. If you get unlucky with your gun spawns, you're screwed anyways.

thanks for all the feedback everyone. I'll work on the two most common feedback:
- fix the frustrating "100% and no daughter" bug (sigh, i'm really sorry guys)
- disable friendly fire and make melee weapons more effective

I got stuck on one street because there was no subway where there should have been one. All I can do is run around in circles. Dunno what caused the glitch, but it's game over for me.

100% explored the entire city and couldn't find her, clearly some clues were wrong unfortunately I have no idea which ones, therefore I'm screwed.

I found a rather big bug when I played through. I had gotten every district to 100% searched, and hadn't found her. I went to a district that had been cleared by clues that I had never been to with a convict, and I found her in a room there. Had I not gotten lucky, I wouldn't have been able to find her, period. You should make sure that the clues actually correspond to where she isn't.

Great game liked it alot but the wapons should be more acurate and turn of friendli fire its anoying and also a level up system where great and i personaly dont like the time limit but 4/5

The randomness is fun but can make it really easy or hard, considering i play twice, and there were no signs of her, and the 2 or 3 blocks had like 80% explored.

There should be ¨special¨ buildings in each district where you could find useful supplies. For example, there should be a police station building in a random district that would give you nightsticks (melee weapons), pistols and shotguns. There should be a hospital where you could find painkillers and first aid. Research labs where you could find molotovs and so on. Each district should have at least ONE special building. Thumbs up if you agree!

good concept, randomly generated cities is different, but i found Anna in the city block to my right of my start zone, finished this game in like 2 minutes

took me a whopping 4 or 5 min to finish. Cool concept, tho.. just executed kinda poorly. its almost like Pizza City with zombies and less fun

I think you should get rid of the teamkills, any time you get more than 1 survivor they start killing each other (heck, my daughter alone murdered 3 people).
Anyways how do you find the virus? I keep finding dead army guys that say they are taking a 'package' someplace but when I get there I can't find anything..

Good game. The only thing I have to say is melee weapons could be more "accurate" and by accurate I mean when the zombie is right in front of you it should hit when it doesn't.

If you missed the daughter then you somehow screwed up in exploring - make sure you check every room and open window (watch for 3rd floor openings). As soon as you enter you'll get a PDA message saying you found her, but she'll be sitting in a bright green jacket, and not already up and shooting like other survivors. After you go over and use Up to search her, she becomes active with a pistol.

As you learned with Cluesweeper, there's always room for improvement. But I look forward to the improvements you will make on this quite interesting experience.

Phenomenal game, except for the whole "I have explored 100% of the city and my daughter is nowhere to be found" part. Props for making a time limit game that actually works - time limits are usually frustrating, but here it's sufficiently well-done by being abstracted that I only ever feel a sense of tension, never frustration.

People seriously can't find her? When you go into a room, you get a phone message saying you found her, go up to the girl on the ground in the green coat and press up. She'll follow you around with a pistol(At least mine did) until you get to the ferry.

lol i found her almost immediately... she was in first building the first time i traveled.
XD i have to admit this game is pretty good. i was expecting another crappy 5-minute zombie game but this was awesome. keep proving me wrong nerdook and keep the awesomeness coming.

I'm guessing that since none of the areas have the daughter,i'm guessing she turned into a zombie. Either that or she was a disguised as a survivor who i purposely killed.
