Description

A fast-paced, streamlined RTS where quick thinking and aggressive moves are rewarded. Colonize worlds, build ships, destroy fleets, and discover lost alien space stations on your journey through the stars.

How to Play

Your objective in each mission is to destroy the enemy fleet. Click on a planet to select the fleet orbiting it, then click on another planet to move, attack, or colonize. Hold down your mouse over multiple planets to combine fleets.

Shortcut Keys:
Mouse - All Fleet Actions
Q / R / P - Pause Game
Spacebar - Deselect Planets

While Paused:
Q - Back to Main Menu
R - Restart Mission
P / Spacebar - Resume Game

those puny ships aren't as puny as you might think. On the last mission where it says ....at the cost of (X) ships of the Earth's defence fleet. (Y) pilots and crew gave their lives..... If you divide the pilots and crew lost by the ships lost, you get 1341 pilots and crew per ship. So all those ships that you mindlessly send to their deaths are actually massive battleships, not one manned fighters!

Very, very nice!
I wouldn't fret that much about a lack of upgrades, this game isn't about upgrades - instead of upgrades, there are new tactical possiblities as the structures come into play. What it does need is more levles! Larger maps with more planets would be nice, too, if the engine could handle it. I like the way it's balanced: not impossibly hard, but (on the higher difficulties) not impossibly easy, either.
And then, of course, multiplayer!
