First it reset all my research back to zero, and now, no matter how much cash I collect, it resets to $792 upon finishing the level.

I found the first water stage level the best for re-farming blue blobs at $1600/8mins. the 5th boss stage 2nd at $1200/7mins.

Like others have stated, this game requires too much grinding and seems to be a shameless plug for people to purchase exclusives. I've enjoyed the Bloons franchise from its roots and was excited to see this game but it's been a big letdown. There are other games of this style that are way more fun and engaging. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I keep losing upgrades. I did like 20 runs with maxed darts and then it downgraded after I switched to something else. This has to be a bug.

This feels less like a game and more like a product. I do believe that games should have a certain degree of love in them, whether that manifest in its gameplay, its artwork, its storyline, its novelty, whatever. There's nothing here but tedium, formula, and money-grabbing, punctuated with some vapidly flashy graphics. Nothing new or rewarding about the experience.

While I do agree with most of the top comments it's too grindy for those who wish to use all weapons, after deciding to stick it out with boomerangs (because I love them so much in tower defence), the grind seemed to be balanced around it. I had no more problems until I reached the boss at the end of act 3, which I beat after discovering there was a research for extra damage vs bosses and MOABs.
I think there should be some extra blop reward for each badge (beating a level with only darts/magic/etc.) and a larger blop bonus for 100% or diamond trophies, that would give those players who wish to use all weapons the ability to get enough blops to continue and also a reason for those who only use one type of weapon a reason to buy the other weapons.
TL;DR: If you're having grinding problems just stick to one weapon type.
Balance the game around buying all weapons, not just one type.

this game cheat some lvls they say u must kill 10000 balloons and all the balloons in the lvl is 10000 this is hard to do and they dont make a award why we do it they must put 2 placese u can play on

So, I'm playing and playing and getting more and more money for upgrades, and I notice, the money doesn't stay, it keep resetting, time and time again, this game blows.

addendum, water level 5, gainst the giant squid. I had BRONZE, like it asked to win... but thanks to that pushing baloon, i wasn't able to kill the squid so I lost... even though i had the bronze thing like it asked for?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i'm sure whoever came up with the idea of the 'pushing' baloons or the ones that orbit you staying out of your line of fire thought they were a good idea (water level 5, the pushing from the squid and the orbit aliens)... but honestly they just ruin the fun more then anything
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
they really should make a new type of badge "actually difficult, not just time consumig"
also, this games pretty damn boring with all the grind, AND has a ton of graphical bugs, on 'hardware' setting I cant see any of the bosses and on 'software' some bloons are invisible and 'weapons' just bug the hell out
definetly not my fav - 1/10 would stay away if not for badges

WTF?! Always when I buy a new upgrade from another class (e.g.: darts instead of lasers) the game deletes my upgrade from former class! FIX IT
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
OMG! I was grinding half the day yesterday. Today when starting the game again half of my upgrades ARE GONE... come on, R U Serious?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The cost of upgrade (and the sheer -amount- of upgrades) makes free-play tedious beyond belief. Make your cash grabs just a little less obvious in the future, for all our sakes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game is super grindy. But to anyone willing to stick it out, I highly recomend leveling up darts for both arms and the beam for the core. It makes it a ton easier.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game was mildly enjoyable until I saved up enough money to buy an epic upgrade and then it wouldn't even let my buy it without paying real money.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Had the fourth bombs upgrade for both arms, then switched to the third upgrade for boomerangs. When I went to switch back to bombs, I no longer had those upgrades.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
jcstechmichael: try reloading. If that fails, try buying something else. The upgrade you bought might suddenly appear.

Just a quick note: This game could be much less annoying to people if the reward for trophies and such were larger. 50 blops for gold and 100 for diamond ranking seems rather low even for the first level' but it is still acceptable. Those same values quickly become absolutely useless. Putting in the effort to pop every single bloon is a lot of work in the later levels and should be rewarded much higher than 100 blops for a perfect run. This really encourages the whole "start a level and walk away" grinding style, which is really sad to me. Just try upping the rewards for silver, gold, and diamond runs and you could get a lot less negative feedback.

Remember when Ninja Kiwi was a respectable game maker? Yeah, me neither. Stop with being desperate for money and making these horrible grinding games.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Like everyone else is saying... Good game concept but unfortunately ruined by greed. Real money content should enhance the game value not define it. 1/5 for greed, get you act together.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Making a game where you either pay as much money as a fully fledged pc/console game or play the same level over and over until your eyeballs commit suicide? Way to Ninjakiwi -_-
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i dont have ani idea of the difference between hardware and software but...
it will be great if you can move with arrows or wasd
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
At LEAST could you make a way to reset spent blops without having to restart the whole game? That way people can mess with the effects of different weapons and not have to grind all over again when they decide they don't like what the one they've put everything into is leading toward.
