It probably takes longer to grind for the hard badge than it did to code this thing that is barely a game. Judging from the comments, I should get paid at least $8.00/hour to do something this tedious and repetitive.

Okay, when it comes to a point where the game starts deleting my upgrades I farmed tedious levels for hours just to destroy invincible shield bloons, and expects me to spend real money to get them back, I am done. This is nonsense and an insult to the Bloons series. You didn't get this popular by making broken games and trying to frustrate us to the point where we'll give you our money just to make it one more level, NinjaKiwi. The point of playing a game is to have fun, but this isn't fun. This is bad, particularly where you're supposed to get diamond trophies somehow when not even super powers can wipe out everything after stage 3.
I am going to assume that the game testers got the benefit of having all the stuff upgraded and unlocked, because even an obsessive-compulsive would let you know your income system is way too slow for the expenses of upgrading and the upgrades themselves are only a marginal improvement over the previous stage.

I feel there should at least be a reset option, for all the upgrades (left arm, right arm, core, and research). It would save a lot of time grinding, so we can try for different builds/strategies (until everything is maxed and strategy probably wouldn't be needed anymore)

MadTick: I believe you have to allow Flash to save data from a 3rd-party site to save your earnings and completion status. I think it's NinjaKiwi.com, but without letting it save Flash data, you won't even keep your earnings immediately after beating a stage.

It'd be awesome if the weapons had a level up system based on how much damage they dealt, instead of having to grind countless hours just to have a feel for which power I'd actually want.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too grindy. I couldn't even stick it out long enough to get the easy badge. When all the top comments talk about how much a game sucks, it's not a good sign.

I started the game and it reverted my upgrades to an older level set in my past then I got unhappy and reloaded it and they were back.

Kinda dissapointed in the ninja kiwi team, grinding is the point of this thing, practically an idle game at a certain point

I got excited when i saw this game, as I quite liked the first one. I am sorely disappointed. The only way to avoid grinding, it seems, is to pay. I dislike pay to win on any game, but in a flash game I play when I'm bored?

"The Bloons games have been pretty good so far, and this one if fun until you realise how much grinding is involved." -- How did you manage to not notice how much grinding was involved?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
horrible, just SO horrible... games are supposed to be fun, where you do stuff you WANT to do, not HAVE to do... HAVE to = work, WANT to = fun... and we wanna play games here, not work...
... ... so yeah, horrible grindfest, 1/5, beat lv20 with the parallel thing, glad its finally over

Okay, so all the graphics are nice and awesome and all, and I do understand that there must have been a lot of time invested into making all the patterns, but no. For all what I've named so far, you get an extra star, getting it up to 2/5. One of the main reasons I absolutely loved the first one was because it was just a simple, relaxing game. You could get through to the next level easily and if you really felt like it, you could get gold ratings, which were also not too hard to get. Now it's a huge grind to just get to the next level. I really don't mind spending money on a game as long as the free parts are good and fun as well, but I'm not going to spend a cent on a game that just isn't fun anymore after 5 minutes of free-to-play time. That might just be me, but still.I'd be prepared to give 5/10 if it was possible, but I am not giving this 3/5.

That moment when you realize that the power-ups have actually become a liability because you can't actually pop any of the bloons on screen anymore.

Holy crap stage 15 is ridiculous! Everything is protected so intensely and the Bronze threshold is so high, screw this game. Grinding for so long, not worth it.

Dang! my computer is too small for the kreds store! PS: believe this, but my old computer video card broke, so i have this slow computer.

I enjoyed the upgrade system and the freedom of choice in the side upgrades allowing things to overcome their weaknesses, and coming from an RPG player, the grinding really didn't bother me that much. My problem came from lag and challenge spikes. Not to mention a lack of story (not that the first really had a story, so having a story at all I suppose is an improvement) or the one time use upgrades, which honestly I felt was a poor use of the ice powers when everything else got its own weapon. I've also never been a fan of these games costing money, and the fact that yours were so expensive was especially damning. Still, with better coding to reduce lag and a little polishing, this could still be a really fun game. I give it a 6/10 on Angry Joe's Scale, Slightly Above Average. Or in my own words, Good, but could be much better.

the grind time needed to level up is too much. Two blue should equal a red to help curb this. Also, you should be able to reset the blops that you have spent on ablilities. This would make the game play more tactical, allowing the boast of taking smarts to win more applicable. Still a fan of super monkey 1&2! Have spent countless hours playing while waiting for nonrelated downloads to complete. Can't wait to see where you take it from here!

Why would anyone spend money on this game? Half of the time it forgets all of your upgrades and you have to restart your grind from scratch. Actually no, even worse than from scratch, since the game is really good at remembering which red things you've collected, so you can't even grind as fast as you did the first time.

My gripe is that lag makes it impossible to get diamond trophies beyond the first two. If bloons disappear off the bottom before they show, then they will always be missed. Why is there no eye candy off option?

So to unlock all the research costs more than I paid for Assassin's Creed 4 brand new on release date, or alternately I grind level 3.5 indefinitely? Not amused, and won't be buying any future Ninja Kiwi Android products any more either.

More grinding than at a meat packing plant. Saps all the fun out of the game. Standard practices of upgrade games (like being able to save up and skip intermediate upgrades) are ignored, making it even more laborious. Not fun enough to justify.
