Found a small glitch. When I was buying something from the super monkey research, i clicked "get it" then the window disappeared and nothing happened so I bought it again. Then it bought it but took the money twice.

This is quite fun to see that this game has poor rating and still has 3 badges when little gems better rated are "forgotten". Kongregate really has become a money maker website... Also the creators of the game seeing the rather bad comment about a too much grindy game do nothing is a really sad thing to my eyes. Still a little 1/5 for me and a big BOOOHOOOO go home!

Tediously mediocre game with no depth or skill to it, stocked to the brim with upgrades and cheats that cost well above what an actual game without all that mess would cost. A proper indie game on Steam costs about $15. Defender's Quest, on this very site, costs $15. Epic Battle Fantasy 4 costs $7.50. You're asking $35 for all epics unlocked and $4-9 for individual unlocks, in some silly timewaster game. That's awful

You know there's too much grinding in a game when you realize the best way to play is to just keep replaying a level, while not controlling at all, letting the game play itself while you get a sandwich

pro tip. On Google chrome at least, don't use tabs. Open the game in a new window, turn off the sound, and it'll keep running while you're surfing the interwebs. Just pop back whenever you like to restart the level you're grinding. Easy.

its not balanced well in my opinion... 98-100% done and lots of upgrades remain unpurchased.Also the rate you get coins is to low,so it becomes a repetitive grind.
Dont get me wrong... its a great game ;-)

So I thought the laser/tech skill tree would be useful. I mean, it was great in the tower defense games, right? Never have I been so wrong. It seems the most common type of bloon I find is glass, it should not punish you for using the most expensive skill set.

@antenore It's not pay-to-win, it's pay-to-skip. Pay-to-win term is used for multiplayer games, when a game gives you unfair advantage over other players. And to the developers, if your're giving people an option to skip a part of your game, and they accept it, then that means that your GAME isn't very good!

1/5 - I'm really surprised to see that some developers still focus on creating pay-to-win games. Stop being jerks, if you want to get rich selling games try to put them on steam, but of course a silly game like this would never get a chance there.

I once made a game called 'Grinder McGrinderson, Master Grinder'. It was about an apprentice grinder who grinds his grindwheel in an endless grind to become a master grinder, the grindiest grindmaster of all time. It was almost as grindy as this game.

its a good game really, but the problem is how it takes a long time to grind and complete a difficult level really, i think they should nerf the goal and bloons' defense

I was excited about another Super Monkey game until I actually played it. Constantly begging for money combined with an annoying grinding process for the upgrades made this game a disaster. It wasn't the least bit fun, unfortunately.

You should at least make it so that an upgrade bought on right/left arm is available on the left/right arm when unused. (So if i by max darts on thr right arm but use something else for it, i should be able to use it for the left arm).
Like everyone else said this is too greedy, and the shielded balloons used to make "nice designs" are plain retarded, but I guess that was your point, frustrate everyone.
Worst game of the franchise by a long way, and your prestige has been greatly compromised imo.
Go rethink your job ninjakiwi. This is a flash game, not a PS4 game. You can't ask people to pay a fortune for it. Or if you do want them to pay a fortune for it, make it good. I wouldn't give one cent to this junk game.

To fast,to much unskilled play, and to costly for this game and the games not that much fun when you have to replay a lvl over an over to get nothing out of it.1/5 dispite the fact that i love BTD 5

If you're going to taunt us with super power-ups in the middle of the chaos, at least make them bounce on the bottom of the screen like the blops.

I don't normally comment on games, but I see all the whining in the comments and want to express my affinity for this game. I enjoy this game like I enjoy popping bubble-wrap (which is tremendously). I've popped 14 million bloons and counting. The 3d backgrounds are excellent! This is a great pick for a casual gamer with a little OCD.

Instead of rewarding us 10 "blops" for bronze, 25 for silver, 50 for gold, and 100 for diamond, I think you should be rewarded that much more PERCENT blops that you had collected that level. This would dramatically make this game seem less grinding

Looks like the game will skip several frames if I move the cursor outside the playing area. I experienced this with 2 different PCs and this does not happen on ninjakiwi.

Wow... even though I said this game would drop in rating due to it's grindiness and having a stupid pay system rather than a fair priced premium I never expected it to drop a whole rating o0.

@kingGainer, I've had that happen a few times before too, just back out and go back to start up screen and go back into the game, it should fix it to the correct amount of blops

Gold rating (even on high levels) gives you fifty blops? My next upgrade is over 20,000; thanks so much for less than 3% of that.
