Wow... maybe just a glitch, but probably yet another attempt to rip you off, but I don't earn any blops anymore. I start a level with 170, & end with 170. Lovely. I'm done with this garbage...

Easy way to get your upgrades.
1) Start a level you've already beaten, like 2-5, with your strongest weapons.
2) Position your guy in a good spot, like the middle.
3) Hit the windows key or right click to bring up a menu. Move the mouse off the screen without closing the menu.
4) Open another tab with another, better game in it. That game will entertain you.
5) Notice how sad it is that while you're playing a game which exists for the sole purpose of entertaining you, you're required to go ENTERTAIN YOURSELF.

are you kidding me? an easy $600 for $10??? wait sorry... hard $600 because i have to do that 9000 more times to buy something.

My biggest issue with this game is not the grinding, although that is annoying, but the nature of the random power-ups collected in a level. As each power-up is based of a type of attack, they also suffering the associated penalties to a specific bloon type. This means I often miss a lot of bloons simply because all my attacks suddenly become what they are resistant to. Unless I get the Sun God power-up I am in serious trouble, especially on the later levels. When there is a lot on screen I sometimes can not see the power-up so I do not know if I should avoid it.

Game is unplayable because you have to be connected to the internet the whole time while playing or else blops won't go up and don't update when you refresh. And stages unlocked become locked again. FIX THIS.

Okay well I have been playing this game for an extended amount of time and got diamond on only the first area (5 levels). So, here are my thoughts.
As everyone mentioned, this game is TOO GRINDY! The costs are unnecessarily high, requiring you to grind for cash. The upgrade system is deliberately made to revolve around the microtransaction system. The combat is also very much lame in the first few levels and only starts to improve with stage 3. But when you do begin to unlock high tiered attacks, it feels satisfying. Both arms maxed with darts and laser core maxed feels amazing. But, again, it takes a while to get there. The bloon formations were pretty cool, especially stage 4 ones, but just about every other level has some pretty nice visuals. But then we get to utilities. No full screen, no audio sliders (just muting isn't good enough), and very vague descriptions of all the abilities (no layer pop values) sets the bar low.
I'd give this game a 2/5. The grind is the killer here.

and i was looking forward to this bloons look bad upgrades cost to much and what about the blops i have to destroy 10 bloons before i can even see a number

ridiculous bug, whenever i go to the upgrade shop, money automatically resets to 547 blops so cannot buy anything over that price. And to think that the developer would charge you for this money...

I see plenty of complaints about the "grindiness" of the game and the microtransactions, which are both completely legitimate issues.
But I have to say, the animation is incredibly well done. So props to the animators. Or whatever you call yourselves.

left arm, core and right arm...i'm surprised i don't have to upgrade the cape, outfit and shoes too. stick with mediocre td games, this just blows.

Finally got the hard badge after ages of grinding (afk on stage 11, middle, lol)... if I could rate this -5/5, I would. 0 fun, you expect people to pay for 'research' that does just about nothing... I tested up to 7 tiers of the moab damage one... is that like a 0.05% influence? Whoever pays $35.00 to get a total of 1% influence on the game must be pretty upset. lol.

ok lets see: at the moment this game is no fun and it's just frustrating because of the grind. the easiest way to fix this would be to add achievements, like get 1 gold stage (1000 money), defeat first boss (1000 money) and so on... without achievement and an endless grind there's just no sense in playing... endless grind without fun i could just go to work instead :P

As a big fan of the Bloons franchise and upgrade games, I was really excited when I saw this game. The first two hours or so were really cool and entertaining, but due to the grind factor I had to replay a few levels, and after I finished level 14 I went to bed. Imagine my surprise next day when I found out that upgrades did not save, but level progress did. I found myself with the weapons I left the game with, but no way to upgrade them until I purchased the *previous* upgrades. And research was back to zero. With less money to be made in the already finished levels, and no apparent way to restart the game from the beginning, I got really quickly frustrated. Sorry, developers, but due to this oversight I can't give you more than 3/5.

Wow game is MUCH easier once you get past the first world. It's almost enjoyable. Make sure you are collecting the red dots, not blue, when you replay the first few levels. After the initial grind, I haven't had to replay many.

Also: If you switch powersets to get the badges, you lose the last level of the power you were just using. I just lost 10,000+ blops by trying to get some badges.

I keep coming back to play for the badges, but after 2 mins of playing I just quit because I realise that it is not worth it...

The gameplay is alright. but the grinding is SO terrible. Its loaded with microtransactions and ramps up the blops costs in the hopes that people will break down and buy them. Just...so damn bad.
...maybe 2 stars

got to 210610 blops collected, left game and when restarted, only remaining balance data was saved-no upgrades, no stage completions. uber lame.

So I come back to play, after playing last night. And EVERYTHING I had purchased is gone and I am back to the beginning. What a waste of time.

5 firsts levels are funny, 5 after are a bit harder but that's ok
and after that's start to be really boring..
Some stupid ask , why a bronze medal is always 10$ ? Usually when the level is harder the prize is better...
Will play it again and again only for the badge, not because I want to make a personal stupid challenge to have perfect everywhere like usually in BTD...
