one question: When you get the spike-ball minigun from the golden bloon, it shoots spiked balls yet bullet shells come out of the gun. why?

I find it annoying that ninja kiwi aren't trying to re-balance the game, and are instead not listening to us. All the updates are about connections and whatnot. NINJA KIWI, FIX THIS GAME

this isn't funny. I was at lvl 18 and now it has reset my acomplishments.... is there a way to get my data back ?
I only have my real money purchase and about 4k blobs I had all dart upgrades complete

If you wanna save some time, get the "Dart shooter" branch for your left and right arm. And get the "pulse laser" branch for your core. That's the best combination imo

why is almost everybody saying "I did beat the game" or something like this only cuz they did beat the final boss? did you get diamond on all stages of all zones? did you get 100% red blops on all stages of all zones? did you buy every single upgrade and epic power? did you get maximum research? did you get all the powrserset badges on all the stages of all zones? if you did all of these, then you did beat the game. this is different from the bloons super monkey game.

First, get levels 2 or 3 tech powers in all slots; second, get AT LEAST level 2 Focused Beams research; third, on EVERY LEVEL, purchase the Precision Flight upgrade; fourth, open start menu on your computer and turn mouse sensitivity up to max: this should cause the slightest twitch of the mouse to jump halfway across the screen; Once you start the level, just rapidly shake your mouse back and forth; with Precision Flight and max mouse sensitivity, this will cause Super Monkey to leap rapidly from side to side, maximizing the effects of the energy whips. Once you've completed a few worlds (the stage groupings) and have further upgraded the Focused Beams research and the tech powers (the powers it affects; the energy beams and energy whips), and have gotten a few upgrades for magnet radius, go back and replay the earliest levels, with the same tactics; easy way to get the 100% poppage.

Okay, for those of you complaining about the excessive grind requirements, I have discovered a fairly easy solution, cuts the grinding needed down to between 1/4th and 1/16th what you would need otherwise; Because my explanation of this is too long to fit into a single comment, I will be posting it in two or three.

The game's description claims it is a "mind-bendingly over the top scrolling shooter!" Yet one of the game's tags is IDLE. I think that should be sufficient to REALLY describe how mind bending this game is. Personally I was bending my mind around a rock as I furiously beat my face to a bloody pulp waiting for this game to give me enough currency to buy upgrades. It is pathetic that if you just walk away and check the mail you get marginally fewer "blops" to spend on upgrades than if you actually play this "game."

How to progress faster :
Dart arms, laser core.
3-5 is the best place to grind. But don't finish the level, quit once you destroy the 3rd glass ring. Select 3-5 again, do the same thing than before. Repeat the cycle until you have enough cash for your needs

A tip: Focus on one path for arms and a separate path for core, and the related research. It'll really reduce the grinding.

Dear kiwi, now that this game is ridiculously old, maybe it's time to replace the blue blops with red blops. You probably won't see this, but if you do, this game is old and is making you no money.
