You need a medal of some kind when you get EVERY blop in a level. Because I've found a ton of red blops on the last level when I have "100%"

I don't mind games with grinding. Monster Hunter is one of my favourite series - and that's PURE grinding. But this just takes grinding WAY too far. The FIFTH level in is an INSANE difficulty curve. You are required to either spend stupid amounts of time grinding, or dish out all the cash in your wallet to beat it. Great game design, WAY too much grinding. Would not play if I didn't want the kong points. 1/5

I can get the grindyness but the fact that replaying a level only gives 1/3 and the blops, or whatever, dont go 1 to 1 with the orbs, so when it feels like your raking in the money, you end up with like 10 red ones. too grindy trying to get people to pay to win on a flash game.

I liked the original, and while this one absolutely had the potential to be really good, it just kinda...isn't. I mean, it's ok, but as others have said, there's way the hell too much grinding and although I'm doing my best to think the devs had good intentions (I'm quite positive there has to be a word to far more succinctly convey the idea of wanting to believe someone has good intentions, but if there is I can't think of it now...) I can't help but get this very strong sense that they intentionally made it grindy in an attempt to get people to pay them, and there's nothing that's going to sap the score out of a game quite as efficiently as people realizing the game sacrifices gameplay solely in the interest of making the creator more money. That doesn't fly with most people.

I noticed that this game has taken a lot of abuse from the comments. In my opinion, the game is just as well done as the others and the upgrades are well done and balanced. Sadly though, the upgrades take too many blops to unlock. This also doesn't help the case for the developer because of all the purchasable unlockable upgrades. Less purchasing, more reasonable upgrade cost please.

The worst thing imo is when you try to go for a 100% run and get screwed by getting turned into a ROCKET PLANE!!! ... When there are black bloons which happily float away -_-

not only is it a huge grind, buying some of the resarch does nothing i click the buy button and the window closes, but i lose no money and gain no research.

As the ad runs, I read the comments and notice that the top 5 all refer to grinding and the excessive quantities thereof found in this game. This should be good.

It doesn't really seem all that grindy to me. Another badge for completing some amount of blop collection or trophies please?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
well i got the badges and now im done way to much grind for this type of shooter i really dont feel like putting 20 hours of grinding just to get the good weapons

1/5 for all the reasons in the comments most up-voted. If it weren't for the badges, I'd stick to the original Bloons series. Maybe even the TD ones I hate. I still can't believe /this/ game got badges when so many others still lack them.

The grinding is bad enough, but it suddenly decided to set my total to -1, and resets to -1 at the end of the level or on the pause menu.
So basically, I'm boned.

Game has major bugs. Most importantly if you go over the price of items it can stick you at -1 or some low amount and you can never collect any more money ingame. So you are stuck with crappy weapons in a grinding game requiring weapon upgrades. So basically the game is useless with such bugs. I will not play it until fixed. This should never have gotten badges when far superior games like hexempire etc. have none.

You know they're trying to monetize pretty hard when to progress at all, once must either grind terribly or just straight up pay.
The fact that the currency can only be collected once is pretty shady too.

It would be 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the INSANE amoun of grinding needed. Could it possibly be a coincedince that this grinding can be avoided with real money??? 5 out of 5 for gameplay. 3 out of 5 due to grinding. 1 out of 5 because of greed.

Games like this make me loose hope of there being decent games in the future. Seriously, what is with this P2W grind?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Pretty good, bit grind heavy but other than that, my only issue is a maxed out magnet should pick up ALL blops released. Going through a level looking for a single red blop because you're at 99% is a bit ridiculous.

Well, there's all the mind-blowingly boring grinding, the messy menus and the frustrating weapon systems, but you gotta hand it to the Ninjafolks - this one doesn't start lagging until the fifteenth level.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Enjoyed it up to level 8, got a bit laggy, by level 13 was unplayable. Shame, this could have been a really decent game.

This game would get a 5/5... if the price to income ratio was sane. a level takes 10+ minutes to complete, and gives you ~$1000. you need $3000+ for mid-tier upgrades, so that's half an hour EACH - but they don't actually improve your income all that much. and god forbid you want to re-spec.
2/5 for the rather awful user experience. (would have given it a 1, but the early levels are actually pretty good. the first 5 times through.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The gameplay is addicting, and yes it is way TOOOO grindy!
Also no matter what setting you pick, it lags and freezes sometimes. I wish that last one could be fixed rather. Also the price of upgrades should lower, as they barely matter after the active abilities >.>

I'm not sure what caused this but for some reason, I now have Triple Shot darts and the Dual Blast core but some of the upgrades you had to purchase before them are now un-bought. In other words, I have to grind to re-buy all of them again. Well, that certainly is inconvenient.

This being my second time through the game, (I played it when it came out on the ninja kiwi sight) I was able to beat the game and get the hard badge in 3 hours. i took darts on both arms and a tech core. I didn't buy any research at all and simply used a parallel universe monkey to beat 3-5. It didn't take much grinding and it didn't take any money. The game simply needs a refund button for people who bought things that they later discover that they do not want. That would probably solve most peoples complaints about grinding.

So much hate, so many dumb comments aswell... @Leothyr what future of site? Site hosts all kinds of flash games, it's the future of Bloons that's questionable, know what you're talking about... While I agree that they have made this game imbalanced with hope to earn money you all should act in such manner... Don't call them money-grabbing or greedy... They wanted to make some cash, it's up to you if you will pay or not, there are so many other games you could be playing right now instead of this... There are enough negative comments and I'm sure they know so either leave if you don't like it or leave some comment that has any help to anyone playing, who is willing to play(if there is such player, because I won't play it for too long)

Badges? I am disappoint. I mean... it's a beautiful game, the way the bloons are organized is just wonderful, and it's weirdly fun. Cripples itself with the prices, those in ingame money and those in real world money. Cant say I disagree with the global rating, 3.5/5 sounds about right
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ummmm, I bought an upgrade for 300... it then took me t the store screen, and said I didn't have enough for it. Now my money is locked at -1 .... I even tried reloading the game and crap and then I tried another level, got the gold trophy, and still have -1. Anyone know any fixes?

Ninja Kiwi makes some of the best flash games. They know this. The mistake they are making, is that they are highly overvaluing what 'the best flash game' is actually worth. It's sad, I suppose, but it is true.
