Under rating threshold (show) I understand why a lot of people like to play BTD Battles. BTD5 lacks depth - after a while it gets kinda boring. Progress in Monkey City is very slow - most people don't have the patience. BTD Battles is fast paced, strategical, and definitely doesn't lack depth.
