it would be nice if there was a monkey tower defense so it could explain why monkeys and bloons hate each other, plus so the creators of this game minght make a game such as that.

If you have the flak upgrade for bomb towers, the flak acts as a sharp object instead of an explosive. So you essentually get both effects.

jdub828, that has nothing to do with it, its a timeout flash bug, checked kiwi forums and they say that it is being worked on. hopefully it stops happening, i refreshed 8 times today and finally got my rank back even tho it says play as guest.

This game is beyond awesome! It's been out for eight months and it still has great replay value! Thank Ninjakiwi developers for making the BTD series, and thank you kongregate for uploading this game so I can play it again. and again. and again, and again, and again...

If you are considering getting ALL of the premium content, consider purchasing the Deluxe Edition directly from the developer. More maps, offline play, 2 more towers ... If your just looking for one or two, then spend the Kreds :D

WOW. 5,690 out of 47,908 people on kongregate playing one game. So every 8.4 people (if that is anatomically possible) was playing this when i wrote this, i'm guessing there were a thousand or so guys that wasn't on then but will be later. I'm gonna have to say, this is a very very popular game, but then it IS bloons TD5. Note to self, never release a game in the same month as bloons xD

i liked the fourth better. it was more straight forward and less confusing. i got it on the i pad when all of the upgrades (monkey money, intense magic) were one time $5 and you'd have them forever. The new one is really cool with new towers, and its not a bad sequel but the developers need to see how those towers and what double in game and out game currency does to the game.

In response to monnmonn, Balloons weren't always threats. Back long ago, in a place called Balonkey Island, they both lived in peace and harmony. Then one day the evil Lord ZOMG sentenced all monkeys that inhabited the North and East part of the island (South and West going to balloons) to be his guards for life. In this, they got training in various weapons and became professionals in them, training others to be the same. The balloons were brainwashed by Dr. MOAB and then powered up with various gear to fight the monkeys in fights in their different arenas. In this, the monkeys can establish an empire among another, without the balloons knowing. Hoping one day, they are free of Lord ZOMG"S wrath.

TD 5 is much more advanced then TD 4 and better in every way and its has better graphics and i LOVE that you can buy pre-game upgrades

one of the very few flash games that truly deserves a 5/5 rating. fun that goes for hours. challenges in different maps. perfect game.
