Once in a while, my in-game money will suddenly be reduced, and after completing a map the money I was awarded may sometimes not be given. Hope the developers can fix this issue.

I somehow lost all of my progress in this game and am starting over from scratch. What's confusing is why I'm not upset about it.

No, you don't need to spend any money (there are plenty of us who don't). It is simply that so many people just don't want to spend any time or effort to become good at being strategic in the game. As for the game resetting, you could have done as so many others have done and simply asked for what to do. Or, even better, if you would have looked further on the Comments or on the Forum Posts, you would have found out that refreshing would have fixed your problem.

So, I've been doing this for a couple days, and I need to say this game just straight up doesn't work. Oh, don't get me wrong, it worked for the first... two days? Then, I came back today. All progress reset, and it will no longer reward me monies when I complete any mission on any difficulty. This is a game that absolutely relies on ingame purchases, the buildings and the hireable troops, and it feels like the game is trying to FORCE me to spend real money to get to WHERE I WAS yesterday, before it reset my progress. I was having fun when the saves actually worked, and now it feels like a grind to get anywhere. 1/5 just for that.
