I have solved the problem. Try downloading a different browser. I was using Chrome but downloaded Firefox and all my progress has been restored!!!

What the heck is going on? No progress saved, no rewards given. Ouch. Unplayable is my progress isn't saved. Wasted a couple of hours on this.

NinjaKiwi have a script that ensures you have to load the game twice, to get your earned progress level. I guess this is to earn twice the ad-money. What other reason could there be?

It's not awarding monkey money. I was fine starting over as I reinstalled my O.S., but not at the cost of not progressing.

Refreshing page no longer restores XP. It also doesn't save. So after playing this for 8 years it is now completely pointless

Phesonor et al.: I started to have the same problem as you, so I went to the NinjaKiwi site to sign in to see if that would make a difference. Initially it tried to get me to download Flash (maybe part of the problem is that our Flash isn't up to date enough???) But I backed out of that page and it downloaded the game (where I wasn't rank 1). Coming back to Kongregate I no longer had the rank 1 problem. So I suggest either trying to sign in at NinjaKiwi or making sure that Flash is fully updated. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

I was reading comments about progress lost, and didn't know why, as I was always fine. Then today I just log in and like Phesonor, EVERYTHING is lost. I tried relogging but still nothing. I miss my Spectre...

aight so, I've made comments about people complaining about their progress being lost, and almost all the time its simply that their rank is reset to 1, and they still actually have the same amount of monkey money. Today, when I logged on I lost everything, and I can't get it back from the normal things I did when my rank was reset to 1. NinjaKiwi, if you see this comment please take action on this major bug

Hey everyone. I talked to game's support and they answered me:
If the chest in the main page isnt working, this may mean you aren't connected to the game server - and so the game wont be save! Try refreshing your browser a few times, clearing cache and cookies and then see if the chest works! :)

I figured out it deletes all progress after you sign in to a new computer. Upvote so people losing their progress can see!

I have restarted the browser, tried everything, its not like the other times when a simple reload brings it back. I have lost all of my progress, and nothing I do brings it back. I hope this is fixed, please message me if you have another solution.

So... I don't know if any of yall have experienced this but when my game loaded it showed 1234567$, 12345 lives, round 12345678, rank 1, white screen and only dart monkey unlocked. Really wierd expierience but just refresh to fix.
