anybody else ever notice tack shooters inexplicably missing a perfect shot? seen their tacks (and blades) go right through balloons on early levels sometimes, wee bit frustrating. Still fun otherwise.

I have finished all levels on hard at ninjakiwi.com but I have one complaint. Once you get past lvl50 or so, the balloons start to lag in register. More balloons come but I am getting less score for them, as if the game is only counting every third or fourth kill. My high is lvl 74 but it seems I have to sell towers just to have enuff to buy the super summon. Still, 4.5/5

It is too easy, get at least one super monkey, you are going to at least level 40, two super monkeys maxed out will pretty much beat the game 5/5

Great game, but I also got the glitch the first time I used a super monkey storm that it didn't recognise the level was over. It started working again after I called another super monkey storm, but it was a waste of 850 money since there were no bloons left.
Still, great fun to play!

my fuking game glitched at lvl 45. i used super monkeys and like it kiled everyone and like its just gged. no round finish appeared.

Tracks: BTD3 has 8. DTD has 3 (I think). Winner: BTD3. Upgrades: BTD3 has split upgrade paths, making it easier to increase stuff when needed to. DTD has 1 upgrade path. lame. Winner: BTD3 Graphics: BTD3 has bright, cartoonish graphics makeing it awesome. ( it also has monkeys.) DTD has pen-drawn, dull graphics. BTD3 wins. BTD3 has messages at the bottom of the creen after a level. DTD has nothing. on BTD3, you choose when the ballons go. on DTD, it has a timer. on BTD3, the upgrades are instant. on DTD, you have to wait for the upgrade to take effect. BTD3 Wins.

AioriaRox, if you must know it comes down to interface. Say your new to online gaming. (Or just TDs) The interface and usability of btd3 is a rarity. The reason most people like btd3 and rate it high is because it's easier to use. Not to mention the skill curve is smaller. Finally the last reason is that there is more to unlock in btd3 then in DTD1.5 because of the area stages and getting all three medals on it. As it said in the game: "Same maps are easy on hard some maps are hard on easy" What that means is that just because it looks like there all maps doesn't mean they have the same gameplay.

How the hell is this game highly rated than DTD1.5?
The problem is, Bloons Tower Defence 3 is a mediocre version of DTD. Let's see why.
Modes
DTD had easy, medium, hard, trickle, random, 10k, spawns, boxes, cross, the 100, speed, 15 towers, survivor, and 3k fixed.
BTD3 has easy, medium, and hard
Winner: DTD
Stages
DTD has one and only one stage.
BTD3 has 8 stages, not like you need more then one though.

Challenge
DTD has tons of challenging modes. Anyone who has the impossible badge knows what I mean.
BTD3 is easy even on the hard more.

Playability Enhancers
DTD has a pause button, a wave skipper (send more then one wave at a time), a volume setter (set how loud the music is), and an end game button
BTD3 has a mute button, an end game button, and you can set which monsters to target.
Winner: DTD
Freedom
DTD lets you place your towers anywhere you want to unless it's blocking the creeps' path or on another tower, lets you experiment with it by using the modes, and lets you juggle by building a maze (again, placing your towers anywhere).
BTD3 has a set path the creeps HAVE to follow, and no experimental modes.
Winner: DTD
Graphics
DTD has a picture of a desktop with stuff on it as a backround, and has pretty nicely drawn towers.
BTD3 has harassing drawn backrounds, and drawn monkeys.
Winner: DTD

DTD has small towers so you can place a lot of them on the desktop, and everything is explained so you know what everything is.
BTD3 has BIG MONKEY TOWERS so you can place a maximum of about 30-40 on screen, and there's a strange "secret" tower that nobody knows what it is.

Powerups
DTD's towers can be upgraded 5 times at most, increasing range, strength, or even both.
BTD3's towers can be upgraded twice for range and twice for strength/piercing/something else...
So, DTD is better then BTD3 in almost all ways, yet BTD3 is rated higher. What the hell?
This game is so overrated.

THERE should be secret achivement that earn 45 points 15 for difculty and 30 for secretness its going to be as hard as meduim..Secret(45)This is a secret achivement unlock it to get more information...heres a good one for this game -beat meduim with at least 50 lives left
