I played this game years ago,and never get bored!!!
And you CAN'T command them to stop!
Tip:buy a storng unit (cannon or juggernaut) at the first round,and fully upgrade it!

like theres this thing called mortar monkey and u can put it anywhere and then u can choose where it can attack upgrade it and u'll be invincible!!!!

on easy without cheat engine (even though i have it i just dont think this game is fun when you use it) i made it to the last level. (level 36) then i sold all my stuff and bought 3 supermonkeys and got laser vision for 1 of them.
