Is everyone here really that clueless? Nothing in life is free. In exchange for providing hours of entertainment, Kongregate has put together a business plan that allows them a revenue stream in conjunction with the producers of the individual games. If you don't want to spend money, you can still play the games and earn the badges. If you don't want to buy Kreds, don't. Period. Stop crying. Get a job.

Great game, but like all the other towerdefence games there is too many waves. 60 waves in one level! and thats only on medium so 4-5 because of that ;)

i have only good things to say about this game.first, the lack of graphic quality control is simply astounding. second, lack of a speedup button makes me want to play more. last, i simply love the bought content system with kreds. by now u realize that i am speaking sarcastically and mean the opposite of what i just said. f*ck u ninjakiwi

If you want to keep your speed up, just click and hold, then right click so the little white box comes up. then you can let go. much easier

*Sigh*. Guys, the game is still really enjoyable without having to buy all of those stupid upgrades, so yeah. But I think they should be unlockable, and there should be an optional donation button. These guys did put in a lot of effort for these games. By the way... Do any of you guys notice that if you fast forward, the boomerangs cut short on their way back? That can be a major disadvantage in the long run, and it's very annoying. Basically, I can't even fast forward without fully utilizing my boomerang towers :/

all this whining about kreds... they're not FORCING you to pay for anything, if you want rank 31 right away, go ahead and pay. if you don't wanna pay, then just don't. it's as simple as that. and about this game needing a low quality mode, i play on a really old pc atm and i'm not lagging one bit. if you got windows 95 you might want to consider buying a new pc, maybe with something better than intel pentium... 5/5 game

You can get ranks easily actually... just play beginner lv and save your game at like a high wave and then when you think it's hard just end game and go to your save point... just a fast way to lv up...

I think you should be able to unlock the things that you have to buy with kreds. For instance, if you pop this amount of bloons than this upgrade or new track becomes available to you. That would make the game ALOT more playable since people wouldnt have to spend money on it.

Fist Map (Easy): I'm at level 91 and it seems like I have reached a sandbox-esque map-state: 12 research facilities ($24,000 per round), 10 monkey wizards, 5 arctic winds, 25 sun gods and counting, 1 sonar beacon, 1 monkey storm(haven't had to use it). I still can probably build another 20 sun gods, and then some boats, and then some bombers. My career rank jumped from 30 to 37 during these 90 levels. Seems like you don't get anything after you unlock all the towers and modes.

For all those people complainig about the kreds: i am playing flash games on Kongregate for a while now and actually is nice to see kong team trying to support folks who spend a lot of time making games (good games of course!) I really dont remember playing a game which kreds influence greatly getting the badges. BTD hard badge was thought for non-kreds players, otherwhise would not be a hard badge to get. If i would buy kreds for getting the badge? Probably not, but i would (if i had some not commited money) to support game developers to make better and better games. So people, just relax! Enjoy the dificulty in getting hard and impossible badges without kreds and spend several hours playing flash games just like i do.

yeah! die balons die! :D....it's an awesome game really; some bugs with a lot of monkey and baloons on the map but at least very fun. 5/5

really great game 5/5 and to everyone who complains about kreds there is plenty of stuff you can do in this game without kreds so what if the makers want to make a little more money you expect them to work for no pay i think it would be a good idea if u could get kreds from like badges or something but still great game and i love the bloons series keep doing good ninjakiwi

It is not Kong, it is more the developer.... but Kong does appear to endorse this rise of the kreds. Kong should at least be giving some Kreds as a reward system as a minimum, i.e. 10 kreds per level gain or such - to offset this.

Agreed. I know ninja kiwi is trying to make money and all but, do they really have to make us pay for this? Also for things like Halo3 map packs. You buy the game. You buy for extras. If the game is free you shouldn't pay for extras. So maybe if we're lucky, ninja kiwi will stop making us pay.
