This reminds me of dream world. If you want to be competitive, you have to pay, that's IT. The only kreds game on this site that doesn't fail is Skystone, I swear. About 90% of the gameplay is free in that game(cosmetic stuff is another story), and it's possible to win a co-op award without the upgrade. (I did!)
So why is Skystone the lowest rated kreds game on the site? I will never, EVER understand people.

i find it funny when everybody is complainign about the kreds, 1) it aids the site and teh dev when you spend kreds and 2) its completely optional, yea it unlocks some new maps, but other than that is juts makes the gameplay easier.

With the speed up button, there are a few ups and downs:
Pros: maxed out spy plane drops bombs faster
Cons: corrosive glue countdown is realtime and not game time so FF technically takes longer to burn through

now THIS sucks: lvl 33, all the balloons are camo balloons...so if you don't have any units with the ability to see them...ZERO CHANCE OF SURVIVAL!!

All of you crying over paying for content are really ignorant. You do not realize how much time effort and probably money the developers put into this game, paying a little for their hard work isnt much to ask.

What the heck. Game was working fine on easy the other day, but now on medium my monkey pops one balloon and then the dart gets stuck. Afterwords, he tries to throw, but no darts actually leave his hand.

I love this game. :D I find it a good stress reliever.
To you whiners about the Kreds: "Love what is, don't hate what isn't". You're gonna lead eternally unhappy lives unless you follow my advice.

It's all about greed. Greed from the developer, and greed from Kongregate as well. I woudlnt mind that much if the games were solvable without kreds, even if it would be harder, but here? No way to solve the last free map even on easy without buying your shite. --- "
37,313 online playing 27,350 free games!" Free games? 37k people? If you keep on like this, Kongregate, then it will get less and less in the future, and with reason. "We are born brave, trusting and greedy, and most of us remain greedy."

once you get leveled up the game becomes boringly easy. If you don't build like an absolute idiot you'll be yawning for 30-40 waves of BS waiting for the level to just fuggin end. The mechanics of the game ar fun at first, like the others in the series, I initially rated the game a 5. I took it down to one shortly after I unlocked everything.

Reasons to hate kreds:
1. it doesnt cost that much to make these games
2. you are sponsored and make more a minute on kong than average
3. free flash games DO NOT COST (hence the FREE)

world map, 24 sun gods, 19 farms, 6 battleships other minor towers. I think my damage potential has surpassed the game's ability to pump out bloons :/ If there were an endless mode I'd be tempted to just leave it on and see if it ever loses...
Also my machine is starting to lag! Gah.

I have to agree kreds can be annoying... But it makes a better opportunity for developers. They need a way to get some cash so they can make more of the games you love. Plus its just bonus content, you don't need it to play the game so everyone should just stop whining about kreds...

It's such a shame that an otherwise really fun game ruins playability by adding kreds. Honestly, I think it undermines the whole "spirit" of this page, which is, at least for me, the FREE exchange between developers and gamers. If I really like a game, I happily donate kreds, but being forced to pay for content, not to mention making the game incredibly easy for the paying people..just makes me downrate the game.

come on really? i u reading this kongregate-27351 FREE games. and its made you one of no- in my opinion THE BEST site. just have donations for the kreds. i mean my parents wont let me buy a rank 31, they think its a stupid waste.

everyone is so worried about kreds? I just played 6 maps of an awesome tower defense with 31 upgrades as I levelled up, 4 difficulties, sandbox mode, user created content; all for free.

I kind of agree with Sebine, Add the ability to lower the anti-aliasing(quality) because this really lags after about 20 waves, and Kreds are fine as long as the game is something you can really play for months at a time...
