Its quite fun. Probably better than the previous games - more complex. The payment stuff doesn't bother me too much - after all, I don't have to buy it to enjoy the game. 5/5

First, this game has been on other sites for a while before hitting Kongregate. Second, the upgrades you can buy aren't at all the same as the ones you can get from getting upgrades from in game. It really doesn't matter, and to all those complaining that there's a way for the developers to get money through the game they probably spent a year or so on.... stfu.

PS You do know Kongregate gets money from the advertising on this site, right? Not a lot, but the point is: They are NOT hosting this site purely out of the goodness of their hearts. Bandwidth, memory space, paying the developers, etc. is expensive. I entirely agree that games should have features like paying for upgrades, ESPECIALLY if non-paying players can get the same upgrades with a bit more work.

You don't HAVE to buy stuff if you don't want to. What difference does it make?
And are you telling me that you don't want the people who make this game to have more money, and hence more time to make EVEN BETTER GAMES? This argument makes no sense to me. Don't buy anything if you don't want to.
Also, great game, really challenging, love the new towers you can get, it has a cool level editor, nice graphics, I made it to wave 31 on intermediate so I have some way to go yet...

@zer0death. How many TD games do you know that have a continue button in the middle of the wave? And the upgrades are real straightforward. If anything simpler than other TD games because there isnt a upgrade tree. Its just straightforward upgrade one at a time.

This game's been on the developer's site for months with the micro-transaction $$ stuff in it. All Kongregate did was take the upload.

For the information of everyone who is complaining about the paid upgrades: THEY ARE OPTIONAL! Don't complain unless it was forced. The game is still free, and all the upgrades take away all the challenge of the game. It's much more fun and rewarding to beat every level without relying on cheap tricks like extra lives, and more firepower.

Come on - I know u have to pay for some of this but I am way past L31 and havnt spent a penny. Kongregate arent making you pay up they are bringing the whole game and its your choice to play for free or not.

Great game, well implemented and fun to play. And, as for payments, choose to pay or choose not to pay, either way it's still a great game. 5/5

@Kyo1995. It's called a JOB. The developer won't starve if kids aren't paying him/her their parents money. And idk why everyone is yelling about it either. The only things that you shouldn't have to buy are upgrades for the towers. Level 31 you can achieve yourself, The double money mode wasn't in any of the old ones, so just act like it's not there. Quit bitching and play the game. 5/5 Btw.
