I reckon that this game is not as good as it's predecessors because for a start, there is now the option win the game in seconds because you have a large wallet.
The artwork is also too glossy and dull now rather than the fun cartoonish features from before; i mean when first looked at my friend playing this game i thought he was playing a shoddy, knock-off version of the game. It appears that btd is now trying too hard to be mainstream, it has lost that originality and witty charm that i liked so much about it.
There are some good points too though: such as the save system, the new towers and possibly even the levels system because at least it's something new.
For the next game, it would be nice to see a game that mixes up the humour and originality with decent gameplay, just like the originals.

To all of you people complaining that kreds are ruining the site. This game had a cash shop before it ever came to kongregate, so you can't blame kreds or kongregate on this one. If you don't want to buy the damn upgrades then don't. It really is that easy.

Its perfectly fine imo for a game to sell fully optional content, as long as it isn't needed for badges. You don't have to pay unless you enjoy the game enough to support it.

wth is wrong with all of you? The developers of this game, and of this site, need money, or do you think that flash games just magically appear? For all of you people that keep saying that kreds ruin the game LEARN TO READ. Its OPTIONAL to use kreds to buy features, aka YOU DONT HAVE TO. You can still complete the game without buying any of the extras.

they need to either take out the kreds or make it so that there is a way to get kreds for free, that would be cool, but they'd probably ruin it by making it really hard just to get 1 for free... also good game ,but i couldn't even beat the second level on medium lawl mabye i just totally suck but they need to make it easier.

this is a VERY unusual stradigy first build 3 monkeys when u have alot of money upgrade all of them 2 times then build 2 more and upgrade them 2 times then build a glue gunner by the 3 monkeys then upgrade it 3 times now build 4 more monkeys (u will get money very fast) when u got 850 money build a beacon (you would have a good defence FOR LONG you would MUST build cannions and stuff)

Make Kreds also available through game play such as hours spent on games such as 1 Kred every 30 mins or Kreds per badges earned. It would be sort of a kick back program from the advertising that Kongregate is already making money off of before the whole frustrating Kred system.

Please when you can, remove Kreds from Kongregate. They're tearing Kongregate apart. Mod's are being banned from Kred problems.

Screw the kreds... Camouflage is way too easy to bypass. Just snap the first few with Road Spikes and area effect towers take care of the rest =/.

This game is impossible to play. I have tried twice now to finish the beginner badge and am unable to play on my laptop. It is not a state-of-the-art laptop with 1 GB of RAM, but if I can play CounterStrike 1.6, I should be able to play this. The lack of quality control really ruins the experience, I am unable to fast-forward, rounds randomly start, and I cannot do ANYTHING while the round is in progress. All my actions are about 5 seconds behind when I actually do them, and it leads to balloons escaping because I cannot place spikes during a round, only beforehand. Either the code is so inefficient that it's causing this, or it's background loading all the 'BUY KREDS' messages.

as long as there is money, there is greed, as long as there is greed... there will be someone trying to leech money off of something. tbh im incredibly sick of all the online displays of greed, kreds being one of them. if you need more money get more ads from more ppl on the borders of the page, dont make us pay for virtual cards or upgrades. TOO MANY GAMES ARE STARTING TO SHOW THIS

Like I complained on the forums for HoG, kreds are infecting every last bastion of this site. Bloons pay2win ? GOD NO! And these levels are way too long, TD is supposed to be a "coffee-break game". I ain't got all day.

Not a fan of kreds, but as long as all of the real features are available, I don't care. If all the Kreds do is let you jump ahead faster because you are not patient, that's cool.

You realize that buying stuff is just a shortcut, and that you don't need to pay to get everything out of this game. It's just an option for really dumb people with credit cards.

only here for the challenge and get my card..otherwise this is a game lacking in any type of playability due to it being a paid game, games are meant to be free...I'll support Game developers with donations, BUT not just to get extra content

You shouldn't have to pay to play these flash games, Kong. Stop trying to squeeze money out of us. If there's one thing gamers won't pay for it's flash games because there's tons of other sites and games out there for FREE.
