It sucks that the save file isn't saved to the specific user like on the original site. I was having lag problems with XP (only reading one core and being 32 bit) so I switch to 7 and have to start over.

Something is apparently wrong with the fast forward option. I experimented on wave 11 where I saved it before starting. I replayed the level with the exact same layout about 5 times without speeding up and killing absolutely everything. I retry and speed it up through the whole level and about 2-4 get through on every single run.

Update on Kreds - spent a few hours stuck on level 53 of tap track. Died, reloaded, tried various things, couldn't get through it. Decided what the heck, I like the balloon defense games, let's throw him $10 and buy the upgrade package. Pass the level with no changes other than what the upgrades gave me. Went from bleeding 130+ to nothing passing the halfway point.
I'll finish getting the badges because I've paid my cash already, but there's no doubt in my mind that I was just charged $10 for badges. And I won't do it again.

Kwachii: "Flash games should be free."
Because Flash is free right? I mean, it's not like it costs $700 for a Flash CS4 license -_- Also, all that time spent creating the products that we're all 'entitled' to obviously was worth nothing.
All the people whining about a game giving you the extra option to buy additional content are driving me crazy. What if all the optional bonuses were simply removed, would anyone cry? No, they wouldn't. But add in some extra features that are not necessary to play the game, but that some people might be willing to pay for instead of just tipping? Well, you can see the result, just look at the top several comments. Anytime that someone else has the option to have something that you don't want to pay for, go ahead and cry. Someday you'll grow up and realize that hard work deserves reward and that you are -not- entitled to anything.

....I rarely comment negatively, but first it was,
-"Alright, the *Points* You get while levelling will eventually be of help in later games"
Then it was
-"Alright, while we havent come up with anything for that, we designed a "Tip Jar" despite the financial rewards and free advertising these guys get"
Now its just,
-"Alright, so how about you pay us extra cash and we give you the step ahead of the people who work hard to get good at our games????"

Either way, you may get players because its the fourth in the series, but I'm sorry to say that THIS SYSTEM HAS JUST MAJORLY TICKED OFF 90% OF KONGREGATE.
You may very well lose future players. Big Time. Why? Cause you f'ked up for some extra cash.
Good luck dealing with the future TDs, cause I assure you you've just gotten major bad press and possible huge comptetition for that mess of high quality only for high payout kind of business.

It is downright outstanding that normally free things now cost many "Kreds". The tip jar and the mochicoins were enough., but now the free games have become tainted. VVVVVV is free, yet it costs fifteen dollars. Fragmenting bombs used to be free. Now they cost 40 cents! 3/5 until they fix this high-priced injustice!

If you click and hold the Fast-Forward button, and right-click while you are holding it, you can move the mouse away from the Fast-Forward button and it will stay held down even after you let go.

Games like this that have the "pay to play" sort of thing are really defeating the purpose of "Kongregate: Free Online Games". Although I can see why they want to get some profit from it, uploading it to a free game site like Kongregate was a pretty poor move.

BUG: "Fast Forward" Doesn't accelerate the boomerang thrower's projectile, but does shorten its "lifespan," so holding "fast-forward" will make boomerang throwers less effective (as their weapons will only complete part of an arc before 'disappearing,' and they don't accelerate proportionately to the fast-forwarded bloons).

Thought the frist 3 games in the series blew hardcore, this one lots of fun...and anyone remember the good old days when Kreds were for tips....Not this BS where to get content on a free flash game site we need to pay, not cool Kon not cool

Starts getting pretty tricky on hard mode, although some of the problems you find yourself faced with are rather underhand for a tower defense game; fast moving balloons slipping through a gap in your defenses' firing cycle is perhaps forgivable (since it at least encourages you to diversify); less so is when the majority of your towers throw attacks at a balloon which is immune to them, whilst you have no way of directing those towers that CAN damage the balloon.

mna kreds are the stupidest things ive heard of. if i wanted to pay to play an online game with full upgrades, i would find one better than the ones on kong. I mean really.

well btd 4 doesn't just sell for kong, and the game is playable without paying, the original btd 4 site you had to pay as well

Goodness people, is it really so unreasonable to try and make money for these games? It's not like they become unplayable or anything. For those who want more, you can get more. For those who want a free flash game, that's here too.

I wouldn't mind the kreds so much if it didn't keep telling me everytime I lose that if I had only spent some money on (insert paid ability here) I might have won..

Great game, as usual! But I do agree to some degree with all the other comments. Kreds are fine, as long as they are not able to be required by games.. This one was fine, where Kreds just jumped you ahead in the game, but I think this is just barely on the good side of that fine line.

Your game would be rated higher if you took all your good ideas and made them free, instead of charging people money that would end up costing more than 3months worth of WoW subscription, Id rather play 3months of WoW than blow up balloons better for 2hrs
