You know, this game was on other sites first. Those sites had you pay for the upgrades as well. This has nothing to do with Kongregate, but the developer. It's a free game and the developer wants money, you would too so stop complaining.

I love it how the Frag Bombs are free on MochiGames but not on Kong. 1/5 For Kreds ruining this game. It's a shame to, this game was pretty good.

You shouldn't have to pay to be good at this game. Paying money to be good takes no skill. Getting money takes work. Who wants to work for playing a game? Not me. Case dismissed.

What's all the uproar about the kreds? You can play this game without spending money to it. Just don't do it, if you don't like it.
And you ask why every developer is jumping on this train? Because they can. If just only a couple of you guys want to spend money to get more from this game, then it's fine with them. At least they put real work on this games. Pray to your gods, that flash games will be also free in the future, because I don't see why they shouldn't make money with their work.

Why are people so mad about the Kreds? Game devs have to eat! You are not entitled to being able to play games for free, especially games that people have invested huge amounts time in. I would like a low quality mode though

Why are people complaining about kreds? You don't HAVE to buy the content and it doesn't help you all that much, so just play the game and enjoy it. BTD4 is by far my favorite out of the others, and I hope to see another out soon. 5/5.

Well that came out garbled. Also, this game has performance issues on my Core i5 on later levels. The screen freezes for seconds, and then when it unfreezes the level is over, or I'm dead. If only there were some way to lower the quality.

Wow, badges that can be bought with kreds. I think the consensus is this was a really bad idea. Or at least extremely cynical. If you can't stop players from cheating, lets make it easy for them by allowing them to pay to cheat, with a small donation of course...

I don't really get why people are complaining about being able to buy power with creds in a single player game.
Maybe some people do not want to waste time grinding through the levels and can spare a few bucks.
It's not like you CAN'T win if you don't buy items for kreds.
It just gives bigger profit for Kongregate, meaning that we will get even MORE content (maybe faster release of Kongai cards, for example)

the kreds are because for the ninjakiwi website, you have to pay for all the extras as well. Therefore, kongregate is required to charge for the extras as well

To me the "premium upgrades" look very similar to cheats, and therefore you should not be able to utilize them in getting badges. And yes, by now they should have figured out how to make a quality button.
