just a little bit more control over the events in town and this would be an absolutely amazing game, as-is you are far more likely to die due to simply not being able to get a weapon than anything else, so being able to do something like let the smith know about your preferences or maybe place an order at greater expense to be completed in a few days would be a huge help...it would also be pretty fitting for some of those options to be tempting but just plain not worth it.

After all these years, I just now realized that the picnic scene going on at the title screen appears to be a wedding reception. And now all of them except the groom are dead. ;_;

Chickens And villa is all you need for hardcore And a descent team. Don't even worry about upgrading weapon's or mod's.

DeepDawg try using an older version of Firefox, I don't know what's wrong with the newest one for some people but it doesn't like to save flash games

The game will force your units to learn Active if your party doesn't have the skill. Here's the bug: Even if a unit already has a full list of skills, the game will force Active onto that unit, allowing it to learn 16 skills. There isn't enough space, so the last skill gets forced halfway off the screen. This just happened to one of my nobles. Interesting how this game is so old (and so good too), yet there are still bugs to be found.

I noticed a bug if you set down a item after using the cost down coin it removes the coin effect on the item yet the coin doesn't reappear

Sometimes you'll find yourself facing a hardcore battle... When that happens, don't forget to save your game (for Chrome users, it's in C:\Users\Monika\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Profile 2\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#SharedObjects\SG4ZGVG5\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0006\1112\live\shootem.swf)! You never know when something unexpected may happen! Wait...is this tip even about writing? What am I even talking about? Ahaha! ...That's my advice for today! Thanks for listening~

Yeaaaaah... like if anyone could make a mobile version of this, it would be awesome...
I am really pissed that this game didn't get the highlight it deserved. Maybe someone who can code could try something ? With or without the creator's approval I guess
Happy life to you all out there anyway!

when using a sniper rifle, you should fire, switch guns ( didn't try switching to anything else) then switch back to the sniper, you should be able to fire immediately.

well this sucks for me. because Google chrome my game saves and medals no longer exists and not only that but every time i go to the title screen it re-deletes the save files and medals. so i cant play the locked classes and not only that but i cant even get the medal bonuses to make it slightly easier. Google Chrome boned me over because i love this game and i come back to play it every now and then.

I just got the Impossible badge for like the 4th time since 2010. This game is forever-replayable because it is so close to conceptually perfect (in the way the game's math scales with progression-difficulty, and in the choose your own fate style). Now triple AAA titles have a million times more resources and graphical fidelity... but still fizzle out after weeks or months... because they seldomly master scaling formulas for "challenge and replayability". Video games as a whole have become interactive movies that take almost no skill, have almost no deeper aspect execution.. where the player's success or failure is actually on the line... and lets we forget the pandemic of boring idling skinnerbox/lootbox simulators. But games like Elona Shooter are the honest deal.. in terms of being an actual video game. Something that maintains Skill Ceilings / Learning Curves / Wildcards and Challenge. Other games: take note.

Get 2 nobles with bow master and give 'em a good bow gun (fire rate mod, damage mod will not be as effective). When u get to high level, Bowgun just absolutely outshine gravity gun.
Then get 1 sheriff (or noble) with dr Holliday and a good auto shotgun. Focus on his accuracy skill.
Remember to pick allies with good base aiming, base teamwork and necessary party skills such as Active, Leadership, etc.
=> profit

Damn, just started and finished only one day and there's so many things to buy, to do, strategies to be picked and etc. Looks like a really promising game and I'm probably gonna spend hours a day playing this guy.

If I could, I would give this game 6 stars because it is the ONLY game on all of Kongregate that has kept my attention since 2010. Even after getting the Impossible badge in 2011, every so often I come back to play this gem for fun.

Got to day 89 on hardcore...then a huge wave of exploders rushed my position. I thought my walls were good enough to tank the damage but I didn't realize how clumped together they were making it appear that there were much less than there actually were. I even had 2 grails ready to go. I think I'm gonna have to pass on this impossible badge. Moral of the story kids, don't greed out with your grails when you're that close.

One piece of advice in case it wasn't mentioned already. When you're collecting eggs, the maximum you can get is by 1 bigger than the number of chickens you own. But if you had 1 chicken the previous day and you buy another 30 chickens and then collect eggs, you can get up to 32 eggs in that day. On hardcore, you can reload the page if you got a bad number of eggs and try again - there's a new seed on reload
