@gexian, you have to beat the first round of the games (rounds are 40 days) to get the elonian medal.
For everyone struggling, I find the key is allies. I believe the best party is sherrif, noble, militia and ranger. Hunter is also good to play as but for my hardcore account, I played sherrif and had all 3 NPCs with gravity guns. to begin with, get lvl 10 active and keep refreshing recruits until you get the guys you want, making sure they have good stats. If you make it past round 1, its an easy ride to the finish!

i suppose gravity gun still has to be here the whole time huh, maybe in future patch the damage area of gravity gun gonna get nerfed to balance the weaponry. all these kills i got are from those rangers with GG.

I've tried this game 3 times. it's crap. It's WAY too hard. I had rated it 2/5. Now I'm clicking 1/5. this game sucks ass.

@kaiji The medal that gives you a GG is meant to help you if/when you play for the last hardcore medal. You'll want to use one, since I've tried for 3 days straight and can't make it to day 30+ in hardcore mode without one. I've been selling my GG in hopes of making the game slightly more fun then spamming gravity balls but no luck so far.

@ kaiji its not as good as it sounds. It still requires Big Gun 11, so u can't use it for a while. Although u can shop it for 400gp...

Well I managed to make it to day 150 will nearly all perfect games past 80 with my group. I was a hunter with two guardians and a ranger as team mates. Ranger uses a 4 slot fully damage modded gravity gun, has max level da bomb, and max level reloading, the thing one hits all it touches. Also leadership skill rocks. Guardian 1 has a modded to be rapid fire wind bow, guardian two is the least useful with a pretty weak auto shotgun. My guy uses a crossbow with 5 slots that uses impact, leech, auto fire, and fire rate x2, all level 3 of course, and this is really the key to how i can win. Really, I can set hero to computer controlled and get perfect games. If you wanna win, get a hunter, get a 5 slot bow gun, and mod it like I said (you can replace one fire rate with a damage if you want) The gravity gun and wind bow are also useful, and guardian abilities really help too.

@istentelen The flaws are mainly in not having a super newbie friendly guide. Many of the things you mention are fully possible. You get to buy chickens and sisters on the SECOND PAGE OF THE TOWER. Click the tab on the right. (little sisters are sort of like mines on the battle field btw. and they respawn every day)Getting a decent weapon is also possible: every gun has some disadvantages, but there are actually many good ones and there are skills that sort of overcome the disadvantages. Those that are VERY slow can be used with fire rate/reloading mods/skills, VERY inaccurate with HUGE kickback can be fixed with Accuracy/Cool skill or using Hunter/Noble, and awfully slow reload is fixed with the reloading skill and reloading mods. Try these guns: Shotgun/Hunter's Rifle, Bowgun, Rapid Bowgun, Revolver and Gravity Gun. These are the best I've found, but theres also tons of other good ones out there.

@ Isen, Try The Number 2 in tower upgrades and for weapons, keep restocking and go to main screen if you don't like the weapons re stocked.

1: chicken are bought at page 2 under tower upgrade. (also where little sisters are)
2: For money I go with around 120 chickens and museum lvl 30. (at day 86)
3: The bigger weapons will come later on, also weapons can be upgraded. You want to get a weapon with 3+ mod spaces, you only lose the last mod when upgrading weapon.
4: AP's are gained by AP bonus (medals 3 max, or skill 10 max)
5: recyleing weapon is only good for for the medal imo.

@kaiji no that trick is for the hero (you) only. The allies can't do it, they only reload when dry.
@thehiman I suggest you play more waves before suggesting that. Gravity guns are awful at handling exploder/flying waves. And good luck hitting the parachute rats with those guns. You're not going to get enough exp later on.

The game mentions sniper rifles, assoult rifles, flamers, rocket lunchers and other cool weapons too, but I never encountered any of them! Only the small guns seem to have some variety.
Ps.: How should I recycle a weapon if it needs 5 AP-s and I get only 4? And if refilling stocks needs 4 AP-s, why does it give only 1 item instead of refilling the stock to its starting value or to a set (high) value?

This game has a great potential, but it has too big flaws! Getting a decent amount of money is impossible becouse those "economic skills" the instructions mention cannot be found. I once got 3 chicken from a random event, but never got a chance buying any. (I also have no clues what are those "little sisters" and how to get them.)
Getting a decent weapon is also impossible: every gun has some very serious disadventage: the are either VERY slow, or VERY inaccurate with HUGE kickback, and awfully slow reload!
Only the crossbow and the shotgun are half decent but they also are painfully slow.
Getting the desired weapon is nearly impossible too: even if you check the less randomness mods, both the dropped guns and the ones at the shop are either boo bad or need too high skill level and you need to be extremly lucky to get the gun you need.

I used x-bow + bowmaster 10 + holy grail thingy.. took 2-4 sec to kill them all..

I had a sniper recently and noticed that disarm wasn't doing anything. The enemies flashed blue but when they attacked my castle they still did the same ammount, I had disarm at least level 6. Is anyone else having problems with this?

when you said shotgun, revolver, hunter's rifle can achieve reload time faster than fire rate.
does the computer manage to reload every time after each shot? or do computer reload only after ammo is empty

i like the game but theres no real strategy to it. U basically just get recruits with big gun and hope that u get gravity guns for drops. if u do then it doesnt really matter what ur character has the gravity guns take care of just about everything

@Cymes I think last hope is a bit bugged like you've said. Sometimes when you lose around 10 hit points (30/40 wall left) you'd just fury even if last hope is level 1.
