Wow, first few days this game is 5/5 Stars. Then the difficulty just ramps up immensely. Got the BotD, and I've downgrading to 2/5 Stars. Even in Casual Mode I had trouble.

@Devili: Sorry, but it's not just "young'uns." It's some of us who ARE "old school." Not everyone is good at these accuracy shooting games. And with the LACK of accuracy in this game ALL THE TIME, this was just a very poor choice for a BOTD. And although I did FINALLY manage (I'm still not sure how) to get all ten levels completed, I still rate this game a 2, and a MASSIVE fail, and the game STILL sucks!

The fact that this got so much acclaim when it came out is a great reminder of how much better flash games have gotten over the years.

And finally holding the space bar while using the sherriff (or any shotgun you reload 1 shot at a time) will give you infinite ammo in a way. If you get the timing down right you can shoot forever with no down time. I wedged a penny under the alt, x and c keys to hold down the space bar for me.

I don't understand how "Carry Over" works. Every time I hit continue I start the day again with 1100 or 1200 gold. No matter how much I spend or save before I continue it doesn't seem to affect the amount I start over with.

And now for a helpful comment, look at the achievements you get in game. They provide bonus upon starting a new game that can help you out. You can get some nice starting money or a good starter weapon if you're lucky from just the achievements. There is a second page to the upgrade shop. Sheriff is a good CC ally with the pushback from the shotgun keeping people away from the walls. I normally have 2 sheriffs, a rogue (or noble for versatility) and myself. Target suicide bombers first (should be a given). Gravity Gun is one of the strongest weapons in the game for mid level ish play. Try to throw it on someone if possible. I normally have a designated anti air sheriff since the flying enemies can be a pain. Pressing F will enable "Fire at will" which removes all range limitations but in turn lowers accuracy.

There is so much complaining about how "hard" this game is. I have gotten to level 50 in normal mod on my laptop without the laptop settings. You people that complain about it being "tiny" need to just get better at the game. It takes actual skill to score a critical not just aiming in their general direction.

This is the worst and most second most infuriating game I have ever played. atleast there is a continue so you can brute force the badge of the day.

the spread radius is way to high for most weapons to be interesting, the random violence is just weird, not funny. i have nothing against violence and random... but seriously? this? 1/5

Nothing bad about this game really you younguns just don't have the old school skill. Play some duckhunt for nes then comeback and try again.

Terrible game playing experience. Decent concept but horrible laughable execution. In order to see anything you must zoom, when you zoom you loose accuracy for aim. This game does not deserve even 1 star.

Yeah, like Binkster said, it becomes UTTERLY unplayable after a short time- none of your shots fire when you click. This is absolutely terrible, and is barely even worth the Badge of the Day. Yikes.

um. this game... its poorly balanced. getting a one. also because laptop mode is not good for kong badges, nice to know you say f*** me, well you get a 1 for that.

I can hardly survive in casual mode -- don't even want to think about regular or hard mode! Not the best choice for badge of the day.

The upgrade and carryover system in this game is a terrible version of Frantic Frigates, requiring WAY too much grinding to be meaningful, and requiring a horrendous amount of luck with the RNG. Hardly skill-based.

This game reminds me of Dark Souls. Very difficult, requiring a breadth of knowledge to master, and offering zero reward. !@#$ you, Kong, for giving this game so many badges. Not only does this game offer no fun for the time required to get into it, it's a garbage rip-off of a mediocre rogue-like. But eh, at least it's a big game. 2/5

I love this game. I hate this game. But in my return trips i have learned to keep tryin, foes are random. Never carry over, just try again.

Hm... what does this Ragnarök sword do? (uses sword) OH... Well that was unexpected... also, you can turn your sisters into suicide bombers? I must admit that's pretty cool.

Day 1, I go searching around town. Initially, I find nothing, but soon enough a crowd of women and children applaud my efforts, giving me enough time to notice three different men taunt the enemy three different times, which somehow makes the enemy feel better about themselves and reinforce their skeletal structure by 10, 13, and 16% separately. A mob of people then decide that then is a good time to riot and destroy my wall. I repair said wall, which is promptly destroyed by another mob afterwards. I have decided to leave this town and assist our local rodent hordes in destroying this town.
