Erm, the previous comment was for people trying to get to really high days, like 150 for the chosen one. If you're not intending to go that high then you don't really need characters with endless damage bonus skills.

The monsters hp doesn't actually rise as fast as your damage does if you're playing it right... for instance... its day 229, and my duelist is crit hitting for 5000 with a revolver... most stuff has no where near that much hp. You just need to pick classes with damage bonuses (noble/duelist/sniper), with other classes like sheriff (keep stuff away from the wall!) and ranger (more rampage) for supporting you.

if you have problems in casual: i don't agree that chickens are the best way to go; there's slow return on them and Kerae's approach tends to involve a lot of luck in search (or more likely, a lot of browser refreshes). start as either noble, hunter or sherriff, don't upgrade anything except the two house upgrades and the smithy (mostly for mod days). save your money to upgrade your weapons and buy good mods, and if possible get either a duelist or hunter npc to max engineer party skill.

its so annoying when ppl rate low due to not being able to be smart this game is easy if played well and smartly you easily have enough money by day 12 and i have seen ppl on day 300 or so lots of ppl have done the impossible even:)

Some advice to you all who are hurting early on (i.e. before Day 20). Focus on getting medals that are easy to get such as the critical hit medals, the level up to 10 to unlock the other classes, perfect game medals. and so on. The skills you gain from those medals help out a lot especially the crit hit ones. My noble (Day 45) is the first one I broke passed the day ~12 barrier and I did it with a autoxbow + bow master. Also if you are having money trouble, get chickens. I had 61 chickens by the start of day three and make an extra ~1000 from that alone. Yes I did say at the start of day three. No I did not cheat. Getting +5 Chickens from the search is pretty much the way to do it.

WTF? Even on casual, the game gets super hard on day 11 or 12. Plus, it doesn't give you enough money to do anything about it. Forget it. 2/5

- While this may be my fault entirely, I've had issues with losing saved games. Having 24 medals, then losing a save file hurts a bit. I've checked my privacy settings, and from what I can tell the issue isn't with me clearing any flash or browser data, which leads me to believe that it's game side. I could be mistaken.
- It's difficult to determine how much of an impact the 'luck' issue has with gameplay. I've restarted countless games before I've gotten a team and weapons worth using. On one hand, it's not terrible to have certain inconsistencies, on another, I detest restarting from zero as often as I have.

(2)The game does have some points I dislike, however I may simply be clueless in a few aspects.
- I'd like to be able to make the game larger (FF 3.5.5). Is there an option to make it fullscreen? If not, that would be nice.
- Even with upgrading the shop and loot npcs, the drop rate of specific weapon types is horrific. I understand that there's an option to upgrade a particular weapon, but it would be great to have the game scale in some fashion towards the abilities of your character or teammates.

I like this game quite a bit. It's fun to play, challenging at times, requires a bit of skill, and allows for a great amount of customization.

A lot of these comments are inane. The game isn't that hard. If you're having a lot of trouble, look at the strategy thread on the forum. Great game.

Ok, that's it for me.
Last weekend I lost my hardcore game (level 77) for clicking on a link during an improptu scroll during game, right now I lost my new hardcore game because light went out while I was playing.
I'm gonna download cheat engine *right now* and get my impossible badge this way, I don't give a damn.
