What I did to keep playing was download a copy of the SWF for elona shooter (not the Kong version and version 120, so some functionality not there), then got an old version of flash from the links on this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/FlashPlayerForever/comments/kp69ix/how_to_use_flash_player_after_january_12_2021/
After installing that player and the Pale Moon browser, I can play the standalone SWF but the version on Kong just freezes while loading. Anyway, I'd rather keep the file locally on my PC because I suspect Kongregate and other sites will kill all the flash games if someone doesn't quickly come up with an effective emulator.

After 10 years I am back to get this impossible badge. Just remembered what sucked in this game, the RNG! So random that victories are more defined by chance than skill or strategy.

With a noble lvl 97 (+ sniper, hunter and rogue) and most importantly, the five mods crossbow.
Overall, bow mastery is a great crowd control skill and I wasn´t able to get past lvl 30 with any other class than hunter/noble.

Money is everything. Many upgrades carry a higher "upkeep" cost than your income.
At the end of the first day, buy Museum 1, House 1,your first helper, and repairman if you have enough money.
Every day, buy one chicken.Every 10 day period, buy: 1 Museum, then 1 Villa, then 1 repairman, then 1 Wall, then Smith, Storage.
If your henchman gets love (militia!), buy sisters to 15 after this.
Sandbags. They're only useful in round 2.
You need 2 NPC grav gun users (Militia, Ranger, Noble). And at least one of them needs to be in slot 3, for battlefield balance.
2 grav gunusers: Defend No, Boss No, dont atack air
4th character: can be literally anything, i recommend Hunter with Engineer + Combat Shotgun. Defend Yes, Boss Yes, dont attack armored.
There is no RNG in this game. Every possible wave is a different type of dps check.Always carry 1-2 extra Oh Shit Grails.
Chickens are the most dangerous eneme because theyr'e hard to hit and ruin your perfect games.

Sold my pistol that takes 2000ms to reload in favor of a rifle that takes 300ms to reload, seemed like a no brainer... but the rifle doesn't reload, game over 1 star

Came back after a couple of years, just to find this shooter as good as it was back then.
No idling, no ingame purchases, good mechanics, nice concept and quiet hard to play. This one is fun.

F R I C K.Finally got that hell impossible badge,took 36 horrible messy hours to get but i got it anyway.|F r e a k i n g Hints:Get every non-hardcore medal that you can,you will freaking need it later,go hunter,keep guardian,get ranger and sheriff on this order.Focus on big gun on ranger to equip gravity gun quickly,get a bowgun with 3/4+ mods slots and only equip mods after you maxed enginner.Equip level max/2 Auto fire,leech,damage and fire rate mods.keep reforging your 4 slots bowgun.After that the game will be easy peace,also don't forget to buy chickens,finished the game with 86.GG and gl with that Impossible imp

This game is way hard... I've tried it 3 different times with all different types of strategies of what to save up for and it seems like the waves all of a sudden just get way too hard and my items match up with crap guns. Any pointers? Too frustrating to waste time on too much RNG. Also ill play the same wave 3 different times and sometimes its just impossible. Are the wave difficulties based off of your level or the day?

I just don't get how the developer doesn't understand what a crosshair is and how it works. Simply amazing ... The game is nice and fun, but jesus, if I'm aiming at an enemy I'm expecting the bullet to land somewhere in it's vicinity, not half a mile away.

I can't believe this was released 10 years ago... I played it when it was released back then and I loved it. I abandoned the game and I came back to it several times with the years. Now, finally, after 10 years, I got into it fully and I've been playing and enjoying it for several days and got far into the game, I kind of feel accomplished. We were getting such good games even 10 years ago, it's a shame the era of flash games is slowly coming to an end and with it all the creativity of devs who did this for more than just money.

Must've played this game ages ago, but never bothered getting the badge. Didn't take long to re-figure why: one of the worst castle/tower defenders I've ever played. Needlessly over complicated upgrades and advancement. Ridiculous playstyle offerings considering some can barely progress beyond the starting gate. Progression and escalation is annoying as hell. Even the starting options are supreme overkill: no one needs so many characters to choose from. In a one-word summary, slop.

Got ptsd when this popped up as BOTD. Now I'm back trying to get this damned hard badge. Closest I got was 18/25 apparently.

Love seeing this game in the BOTD rotation. Four years of on and off play between the easy and impossible badge for me. I know a lot of people dislike the extreme randomness of the game, but it's games like this and Mud and Blood where the RNG can completely change your game experience every time that are my absolute favorites.
