This must have been what the makers of Lord of The Rings had to go through while filming, defending their sets from the roving herds of renegade sheep that are indigenous in New Zealand.
Also surviving Ragnarok is easy if you first obtain the Chalice of Jure and have a few people on your team with a Chain Gun or Gravity Gun, it also might be a good idea to add high level Damage, Fire Rate, and Impact Mods (work especially well in interrupting their attacks, forcing them to charge their attack up from the beginning).

Btw.. many ppl might not be aware there is a partial idle version of the game... after the first battle u can go to the barracks and change your main characters orders {appears under where new recruit are} from hero mode, where u have full control over your character, to either fire at will or any other orders.... note too u need to carefully manage and choose the best orders for each character or u'll die easily.. also too u still need to use items during battle and do shopping after each battle.. but it's great if your busy chatting or look for a new different challenge. finally if it seems a bit hard then u can also enable certain options like slower enemies

@nicy Why? I love using those things. It brought me from ~18 to ~25. It's great for leveling if you have understanding of the game.

Some ideas for Elona Shooter 2:
Naming your character, having a mode where everything is 2x easier and the same for harder.
Starting off with a wepon choice out of a machine gun (LVL 1), big gun (LVL 1), and a lazer pistol (LVL 1). Thats what i think should be in Elona Shooter 2 (if there is one).

@sparky you cant stockpile grenades cuz they are different levels as for hammers i guess its so if you cant pile grnades you cant pile hammers

Nice game, but has anyone else noticed that if you get awarded more of something you already have (like 2 hammers, and you're holding three, or 5 grenades and you have 2), it doesn't let you stack items? Makes it impossible to stockpile anything...

The single shot rifle is arguably the best beginner gun. Shoot once, reload, and you'll never run out of ammo. The small reload delay is barely longer than the delay between shots anyways, and it lets your accuracy recover faster.

dude i f you find Ragnarok. NEVER use it. it summons like a million dragons that kill you instantly, it's really annoying but use it once for fun or to check if im correct.

does hardcore mode really delete your save game upon loading a new day?
so if you loose one day you got to start over again?

What the heck I scored perfect games on days 64 and 65 and I have gotten no bonus for it or does it just not say I got it.

Thumb up if you missed it too..

Soldior: Sir! The sheep and rats are overrunning us! What do we do!
Cpt: What we can do. Shoot the crap out of them with machine guns.
Soldior: sir... it's sheep and rats.... wouldn't it be a bit extreme to -
Cpt: MACHINE GUNS!

Also instead of using the noble or militia another good one to use is the ranger because it has Da Bomb which will increase your gravity gun damage,my favorite party is: me as a sheriff(the default shotgun if my favorite),then get a ranger(equip with gravity gun) after the first day, then get a militia around day 4-6(give a rocket or grenade launcher(or gravity gun(also it's possible to give it a rapid fire gun), then get a rogue or hunter and definitely get a rapid fire gun for whatever one you pick.

in order for money to carry over you must save your game before starting the battle again!
Otherwise it'll just carry over NOTHING!
+ If you found this helpful!

@alecunel. Good strat but a couple of changes to consider: try and avoid employing two of the same sort of guy. Replace one of the nobles with a Militia. Militia will not only bring a couple of different skills but they are the best guys with grav guns due to a faster skill gain in core skills (ie they aim faster). The king of weapons is the bowgun with autofire and fire rate mods on it. My L50 bowgun fires 11.9 shots a second, does 400 damage (so at Level 300, just about everything dies with a single hit), and the shots go through things, so you dont so much aim as spray the environment :) Try for a rifle-skilled guy next time!

This is my strategy. I started with sheriff and i focused these abilities: dr holliday, fury cripple shot anty armor. Then i upgraded my shotguns with leech . At the beginning do these things: 1)invest almost all your money in chickens , 2) upgrade the house and hire 2 nobles and a rogue.
Focus the the nobles abilities on big gun and give them gravity gun as soon as you get them. Then focus "reloading" , "cook", "accountant" abilities . the rogue is important because in this way you can benefit of the abilities "negotiator", "active" and "threat".
Do not invest money on wall, sandbag, looter, repairman, museum, sp. trainer; these ones just increase the upkeep cost.
When you have lots of money invest them in smith and villa upgrades. However keep on buying chickens if you have the possibility.
How to use APs: at first levels use them for "have dinner" and "collect eggs" or "claim title". At high levels use them for "party" and "taunt".
With this team i'm now at level 136
