(this only applies to HC mode once you have all the other medals) I have played this game a lot and my favorite composition is a rogue as my hero and a noble either two rangers or a ranger and a militia as my employees. Grab a revolver as soon as you can and hold down space to put it into auto-reload mode. Max out power shot, sense, killer and luck first. Once you get to higher levels make sure to put a lvl 3 anti-air mod and fire rate + damage mods when you can; after you have a good fire rate mod start putting points in aimed shot. Put grav guns on everyone else and you'll have no problem getting to 100 days on HC.

well i guess day 10 on hardcore isnt really so close to impossible haha, i got a ways to go i guess, and i hope i dont die at day 99 that would be bad.

i've been having some awsome luck this game.i'm on day 120 and so far i've picked up a 5-slot Laser Pistol, 5-slot Auto Shotgun, 4-slot Gravity Gun and a 4-slot Rapid Bowgun. all of which are being used by my team :P

Easy way to win, start as a noble ASAP get a rogue, then 2 Militias get the rogue a Revolver with a Leech, and then as many Damage mods that can fit, same thing with the 2 Gravity Guns for the Militia... For the Noble get a Rapid Bowgun with a leech and as many Fire Rate Mobs, be sure to get Bow Mastery!!!

I survived ragnarok on day 24 without any uber gun (like gravity, like suggested from some guys)... just use 2 sets of grenades and a graal of protection, spam the grenades (they need to be around lvl 7) and hire a henchman. You should be fine. Remember to have dinner before using ragnarok :) 8 lvls gained from it...

Ragnarok survivor tips: when you get it, keep it (dont sell it). you need a hold grail of jure, and a few area damage weapons. i had two gravity guns and a bowgun with max bowmaster. when you are ready, use it, and then use the grail. if you are strong enough you should easily wipe them out. the amount of money and exp you get from Ragnarok is huge if you get it right. with this strategy, i didnt even get hit once

@HellsSerenade, dont use an MG on a sniper, and big guns arent very good unless theyre the grav gun, use a rifle on sniper

someone help me out, i havent gotten any good big guns, just the crap machine gun thing, is it because im not far along in the game, day 20ish, or is it because im a sniper

lol do not use a specil artifact called ragnoark if you use it in battle it summons dragons and shoots at your base with very powerful attacks so beware selling it is better cause its 1000 for it

heroman is right on the dragons are heavily armored so the laser pistol is the best weapon to use. when i got the medel was in the mid 50s and had a team of rouge (laser pistol) Sniper-Ranger (Grav gun)-Milita (rocket launcher) good way to ensure victory is to forget hammers and double and triple up on hammers

to beat ragnarok you need a fast firing gun that dose high damage (equipped with damage + impact mods) and a holy grail.
i find that a laser pistol works well to take down the dragons. use the holy grail if you can't kill them all in time.

I agree with blakeusx. One stage is easy as hell, then the next stage is over powered and you have to play it 20 times to beat it. A little more freedom to build a character the way you want too would be better instead of the random stat generator. 75% of the time the stats to choose from don't help you at all.
