@unleash1: it's not just you. Museum still needs a buff. For example, with all but 2 badges, Museum 1 = 266 GP per day. Museum 2 gives +30%, or 346 GP per day, for a net increase of 80. Museum 2 costs 2150, so 2150 / 80 = 27 days before the upgrade cost is recuperated. Terrible, terrible, terrible investment.

unleash1: The museum is awesome especially with all the badges. with all the badges it generates 250-270 (the first tier, tiers after that are much worse since its only 20% added) gold at a cost of 2000. so in just 8 rounds your turning a profit and if you get it early and are aiming for 100 HC rounds then thats a lot of money made.

Damn, day 55 on Hardcore, cruising through and my gf sneaks up on me, startles me, I hit ragnorak on accident and look away for a few seconds and I'm dead. Ha!

For a long time it's been a rumor that popularity relates to title, and that when you gain popularity you'll get a title more quickly. I'm ALMOST positive of this now, as I got a new rank in about 3 days and did so happen to get a lot of popularity boosts while wandering town. Thought I'd inform you all.

PLAN OF ACTION: If you have a Little Girl, dismiss her and hire a Sniper/Militia/Noble. Get 2 Trainers, 2 Looters (unless Rogue), 2 Repairmen, and finally a House. Hire a Sniper/Militia/Noble. Upgrade all weapons once. Apply Impact and Leech mods, sell the rest. Buy chickens with rest of cash daily. Use AP points to (in order of priority) Claim Title, Collect Eggs, Eat Dinner, and Go Searching. Re-post this so it won't get lost!

how come out of 4 gun classes, the only ones i ever get in the shop that are on or above lvl are all small guns...the one type none of my team or i use...

As an aside, please don't forget to repair your walls. Just forgot in a level of HC. Zerg rush exploders and 17 HP castle is not fun.

Has anyone actually done well with a militia/ranger character using big guns? i've tried both classes with big guns as main weps, and haven't gotten past day 25-35 on either without multiple multiple tries....

I really like this game not only because it is really cool and is fun... but it uses only the mouse and some keys... less energy used!

Up to day 103 casual so far and haven't had to use a henchman or a re-try. Noble with max bowmaster using a bowgun with autofire mod (better dps and higher dmg vs armor), duelist with laser pistol (not attacking air), militia with gravity gun (not attacking air so the globe stays horizontal), and sheriff with auto shotgun and cripple shot (knocks back and slows a wide group, set to not attack armor). All I'm investing in at this point is the villa. Getting +130% dmg right now. Max sandbags, storage and smithy. Taunt was the best moneymaker early on, but throwing parties is more important at this point. I don't bother upgrading guns. Too costly. I just wait until a higher lvl one goes for sale or drops and I save the mods I want to use. Extra storage makes it easy to save. Lvl 1 autofire on bowgun makes it better than a rapid bowgun.

xxhurley, try to get some medals (they help all your saves) and try to play with laptop difficulty in the mods. At least until you get the feel of the game. You can get all kong badges except the last with laptop difficulty on.

lol @ Hurley. If you can't get past 12 on any character with any strategy, then you either haven't tried hard enough, or you just plain suck and can't hit anything

To buy chickens and sisters, in the 2nd page of the Tower Upgrades, and to make a party, u need tu buy the Villa, that stay in the 2nd page on the tower upgrades too.

Getting to high levels isn't that hard. The hardest part of the game is the first 30 levels of so. After that, you should have your final team and roughly your weapon of choice. If you want to do well, you'll need a good armor piercing weapon by level 11 since tanks appear then and a good aoe weapon by level 20 or so. If you're having problems, a rogue is probably the best char since they can afford tons of shop and +damage upgrades.
