The impossible badge would be unreasonably difficult by any standard if not for the fact you can back up your save file. Nothing like having one bad day of enemies completely ruining hours and hours of work Game is rather fun, if difficult, when played for a laugh, but screw that impossible badge. I'll get it yet though.

I looted an auto shotgun with my sheriff at day 5 so i was wery happy, when i found ragnarok at day 16 i used it the other day and gained 9 lvls :O

this is a great game besides the fact that the guns are under powered such as the hmg should do about 65 damage if the pistol does 14 and yes it would be to overpowered if this was changed but thats there problem

Here's another good tip(s) for anyone who's just starting and wants to get up to the higher days: before you tackle the game normally with no mods on you should at least get all four of your starting classes to level 10. So, you can unlock special medals that will give you benefits in the future. Start the game with casual mode on and (optional) Laptop Mode : As OneLeggedRhino said. That should give you a good head start I hope. :D

@ Developer: How about when 'New Game' is clicked it chooses the next available Empty Save slot. Furthering the rule of Medals being tied to saved games and if one is lost (played over), in the medal screen you could highlight the medals that affected by whichever selected save game. I know about the 'deleted games' issue but I was halfway down the list and just earned my Elite badge. Now, it's dropped to Survivor with sister, chicken & Unseen Hand badges lost..... Too much lost time

@ Developer: Stupid medals get LOST if a save game is played over. Dropping rating to 2.5/5 from 5/5 for being so pissed off at lost time. Excellent, long-term game play... well it WAS.

wow, now im done. never again. 2nd time in a row that i have had a day 60+ HC game and died to a boss that would not walk into the screen to die. he went beserk and killed me. No sheriff, no cripple shot, no knock back on weapons.

I was talking about the "Allies" you can change You out of hero mode, and let the game play itself, quite easy actually.

RyuuOokami tower defense games dont have AI moron. They are running a set number of enemies on a set difficulty, running set paths.

day 43 on normal as militia. team; gravity gun, lazer pistol, and hmg. me; gravity gun... finaly made me hit carry over... now on day 44 can't pass anything! so close to the day 50 achievement...

THe AI for the game is beast.
It's been playing the last 30 days for me.
Great way to chill out once you start to get tired, but want to keep going.

AcewingX: Use a Noble class and get a revolver as soon as you can. Hold your space button to instant reload and use that for your main weapon. Get at least one man with big gun specialty and equip him with gravity gun. Invest in chicken early to get money. Start building villa to party when you need to (start at around lvl 40). The game gets easier when you have more badges.

I've been playing this game off and on since it came out. After a few aborted efforts to get the impossible badge, I realized that it's not enjoyable to keep trying. I like casual mode--it's a good time-waster. People who are badmouthing the game should forget about the badges and just enjoy it.

I wonder if there's an indepth guide around, because even with most of the starter medals you can get on casual/laptop mode: it's still not enough.
Trying for the imp badge so I'm doing another casual run on no marked mods to prepare and I am completely struggling once I get to day 20+.
Is there any guides to help you last atleast up to 150 days, because the game seems to force to either get the right unit/skill sets or you suffer from tax/wages/ramped up difficulty.

My sheriff on day 72 just used 2 ragnaroks after eachothers ... it was fun, next time ill save upp to 4 ragnaroks to use at the same time ...

@keosomnang : on the top right corner of the window there are all the games you have saved, choose one and hit "continue" instead of "new game"

Some medals can not be achieved in carry over mode... b.s you cant get any medals in carry over mode. f-ing stupid. + if u agree
