Shadow: The Ragnarok is a sword that is used to summon like 20 dragons and if u can kill all of them and finish the day of killing the normal waves it will give u the medal.

You guys sure do complain a lot with regards to no longer being able to reload your game and get different search results. The results are random, they just arnt re-randomized after you load a save game, so now you cant cheat to avoid bad rolls.

Ugh.. seriously. The only way that it could possibly detract from the gameplay is if you cant figure out how to get past it on your current save, or dont get lucky enough to without cheating the rolls. There wouldnt be much point to the game if there wasnt some degree of strategy or challenge to it. Either you played poorly, or you got unlucky. Start over and try again.

Very good game....
I finally finished hardcore mode yesterday... many times I died and restarted...
Continuous weapon upgrade(in smithy) is important.
For friends, sheriff with auto shotgun is best... Knock back skill is very useful.

Tbone, the critical spot on the catapult/ballista is at the base of the launcher. It looks like a little silver bolt. Just keep shooting there and you will either do 2x damage or get a "CORE SHOT" which is a one hit kill on it.

Yeah, it is really hard even in casual mode but whatever.
Does anyone know what medals you CANT get after you use the "carry over" feature? Im scared to click it at day 45 because I want all the medals..

so there's a bug where the dropped rats from the (Peters?) arent hit by the people aiming at them... its almost like they aim at the shadow on the ground and not at the body of the rat, where the damage registers. other than that, this game is pretty awesomes

This game is stupid. The reload should be automatic. The leveling system makes no sense. I have no idea what any of the skills actually do. It's too convoluted to make any sense.

Great Game i love use Hunter with Bowgun + 4 penetration skill (best for catapult:) and MG with acc and one shot kill bonus :P easly 50+ days (no saves)

The "reloading won't dodge bad effects of searching" thing is still abusable. If you get a "thief" effect or a "lose AP" effect, just reload and spend all of your money/AP and then you can clear the bad effect from the queue without it hurting you. +Enemy HP can be deferred to a later wave through a similar trick if you don't think you can handle it right now.

dificulty of this game is similar to roguelike games. Little bit stupido and annoying but more like hell hard to stop playing. GG but got damned annoying.

here are some tips: good guns are laser pistol for rogue or noble, shotgun for sheriff. upgrade gravity guns with leech mods, ur own with damage/fire rate

casual mode is piece of cake. if we are talking about hardness i think this is about HC mode. main things are: two guys with gravity guns and good own weapon

ok the new update sort of sucks, at least make the searching the town events refresh every day. its annoying that you always will get crap luck no matter what you do....

@BCQuinn: For starters the higher level difficulties are very dependant on how you spend your AP. Putting a couple levels into your Villa can easily double your DMG output. If you're using the community game mod throwing parties and praying might be necessary. Also getting the anti-armor/anti-air skills and maxing them early helps greatly.
I cleared 150 days of Casual without much difficulty using a Noble with a MG and very shoddy support units (40+ levels lower than my character). Be greedy about XP because aside from some minor support the NPC's are really only useful for Party Skills and knockback.

Thanks for the updates, but I think you've hurt the game more than made it better. Instead of balancing things up, the game is much, much, much harder, and whereas I could get to day 25, I can't beat day 7.

So , are the fights less random , like , won't I encounter 4 catapults in a row -getting owned ?
Cause that happened to me some of the time , and when I replayed the same ol' day I had half of mine health at the end of the day and no catapults encountered >.<
I know that this may spoil "chaoticness" of the game , but there need to be some rules setting what can , and what CAN'T occur during battle.

The new changes seem to have made the higher levels even harder. After failing to make progress on hardcore mode, even with a stacked group and a lot of good luck, I decided to go back and try to get to 100 days on casual with all the 'easy' mods selected... and now find that I cant even get as far as I once was able to on HC mode. With every other comment on here talking about how difficult it is and the developers constantly updating the game, I dont understand how it isnt getting through to them to give us a fighting chance to get some of these harder medals. Its now 10X harder to make progress in the later levels of the game than it was a week ago, and it seems like they are just punishing people who are putting in a lot of time into this. Argh!
