Actually, vesperbot, if you can time it JUST right, you COULD try to use it right before the day ends. I've done that before and gotten the medal for it.

allendroid, yes, if you have just used Ragnarok sword. Its name means "end of the world's battle", so in case you are ready to pwn that many dragons, use it, otherwise you'd better sell it at once.

@Kamikazelegacy. Funny how many people mention that. Or the tanks. However, guns and castles have co-existed historically. Surely there are much greater mysteries here: How can a sheep headbutting a wall damage it? Or a chicken throwing eggs? Or a dragonfly flying past? And why do rats feel the need to parachute from pterodactyls? And I seem to have an inexhaustible supply of sisters! Curiously these ones dont get mentioned so much, lol!

If they make a second one, I think a good addition would be to be able to choose which enemies for my allies to prefer. For example, I have a regular pistol, and am trying to get as many head shots as possible. Mice take 1 hit for a head shot, with the pistol, but my allies keep killing them. I want to be able to tell my allies to shoot at all enemies, but to shoot at, say archers, first.

I just learned something, not the least bit interesting. I had thought that the game ended on day 1002, because that's as far as it let me go, but it would seem the reason it did that was because one of my allies (level 4,936) ran out of skills to learn. You can go on and on, replacing your allies until your character reaches that ridiculously high level. Ah, useless info.

Tip if you guys didnt know- After you survive 10 days with a class, you unlock another class, like; survive 10 days with sherrif / Unlocks noble

My way of getting a good first ally is just selling the little girl and then getting a actual good ally:3 it works pretty well since the little girl ally kinda sucks... not to mention your still able to get another ally as wellXD

Day 130,
Today I went out with my buddies, killed another hundred or so of them. Collected over a hundred eggs which sold on the spot for a nifty profit; glad no one stole any of my property while I was out. Threw a party to celebrate our victory, somehow this allows our weapons to perform vastly better the next day. After the party, my buddies and I get rowdy and begin taunting the fields of corpses outside the castle. Our King seems to think we deserve extra payment whenever we do this. Had dinner, these feasts have always been a great experience. I wonder why these guys keep attacking from the same side of the castle everyday, our South gate has been defenseless for almost a year. Records show that I have slain over ten thousand of them, and my buddies have each slain well over five thousand each. Why do they persist? Come to think of it, I have already obtained the title of King, if the King of this kingdom is paying me, and I am the king, am I paying myself?

LordByron & pokeyday -- Bowguns do hit suicide bombers the problem is perspective. You're bows are hitting at a spot that doesn't actually penetrate the bombers path. you can't really see it from the side perspective, but imagine the bows being about 4 feet to the bombers left, but their long torso makes it look like the bombers heads are actually right where the arrows' flying. If the game could be seen from a different angle you'd see what I'm talking about. Try aiming for their legs, you won't get the criticals, but your hit % should go up.

ohs0fast - look at your upkeep cost on the upgrade screen. Notice how Repairmen raise your daily cost 60GP per level, Storage does 40GP, & Sandbags do 40GP, so keep those down early on (NO REPAIRMEN) You better have at least 1 rogue too. Build it's luck, Killer, & Sense abilities right away.

If ur with Bowgun, get a Shotgun, or Rifle from lvl 7-19. Swich quickly to second weapon to kill suiciders. Your teammates should have enough basic aim with lvl 20+ to kill them aswell, so u can sell your second weapon with lvl 20+

crossbow doesnt hit suiciders im guessing because it penetrates multiple enemies, so it would make it too easy to kill suiciders with it like that. ohs0fast- yes it's hard. you have to get kinda lucky and get one gun you can shoot well, and play casual for a lot of medals. Then it's just about getting lucky

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but it seems really hard ... you don't get enough money to keep up with the rate of difficulty increase (even in casual mode)

Years later, I still come back to this game just about every time I see it on the list... Time for another ragequit I guess xD

Finally made hardcore 100: Hunter(Bowgun), Rouge(Laser), Ranger(GravityGun), Sheriff(AutoShotgun) is a nice combo, but u need sheer luck to get the right weapons at the right time to get this badge. I did 10 attempts till it worked.

Actually both of you are wrong.Yes at mistake.Unless you use the day ending technique.Eventually after some time if playing, you will be able to rain those dragons with destruction. Then yes...rock them up.

One important trick to know, i think, is that when using a manual weapon you can simply hold down the space bar and you will reload the gun in between every shot.
I find this to be most useful with the Revolver (which I never see anyone talk about). I've been using this gun the most in all my time player this game. Effectively this allows me to shoot 3+ shots per second with no reload time ever. And with the damage ability of this gun, I can really unleash a lot of damage continuously through every level.
I am a noble, with a rogue (laser pistol), ranger (gravity gun), and a sheriff (any shotgun will do really). I find this to be very balanced with the guns (ability to take out armor/flying waves). And the units are selected to give me access to almost every party skill.

@donutboy: you can remove mods. If you reforge a weapon, it removes the last mod added automatically. You might be better waiting for a better gun to come up though. Some guns get up to 6 mod slots, which are brilliant.
