The grail only saves you from damage.
You have to use Ragnarok,then start shooting the dragons. And if the first one gets close to actually unleashing its attack, use the grail to protect you from the damage.

@Sac : I use a laser pistol since I'm small gun noble. It depends on your weapon group, if you're really having trouble consider getting anti-armor skill.

whenever i first played this game lets just say i didnt like it.... and now i cant stop. its like crack, its hard but its addicting. i love it now because its so easy hold in there beginners. it gets a lot easier gets a lot easier gets easier

I think ballistas are too dificult too soon. 10 damage per attack and ranged.
Any advice for taking them out? The best I've found is a bowgun or something explosive.

@marcello180 You only get 10 AP everytime if you selected the comunity complation game mod when you started the game. But picking any of those mods that disqualified you from high score list makes the game EZ mode. So its nothing to brag about.

Lol Darg, I get 10 AP every round...you need to get the Active skill and the taunting/praying/party-throwing medals..

Personnally, i'm a bowgun fan. Musn't panic with this weapon. Fire on far enemies and try to shoot the mpst. If an enemy is too close, have a man with the defend order and trust him. My team actually me (hunter/noble) bowgun and shotgun. 1 ranger with gravity gun (sweeet), 1 duelist with laser (the defender) and another hunter/sniper with rifle/bowgun

@Vench set both grav gun users to NOT fire at air targets and check boxes boss and defend. For your sheriffs fire set to fire at will but no bosses only defend. I hope 1 of your guys has leadership maxed and both sherrifs should have 4-5 accuracy skill and 1 lvl3 antiarmor mod in thier autoshots. All your guys by that lvl should be rocking guns with 4+ mods slots.

For the moment 45 day in hardcore. Impossible badge is not so hard. Its a combination of luck and bad luck: luck being good weapons and bad luck being bad waves

SP Trainer is NOT worth getting it randomly picks a a charcter and skill to train. Worst of all it can give your henchmen the capable skill which is the WORST skill in the game.

What is up with the recoil? It just seems to magically get horrendous and make my reticle gigantic randomly. If it always happened when firing rapidly...fine, but it doesn't make any sense when it gets bad.
Also, headshot detection needs work.
Unless I'm just completely inept, this game is hard to an unfair degree. I rarely see the end of the second damn day...

The trainer is worth it if you have extra AP. If you don't already have a high Active level or the medals that give more AP, you probably don't have much use for it yet.

I find I have the same problem as Vench with non-hero mode. I can taunt two or three times and almost always make a perfect but if I put it on non-hero mode I get thrashed by the third or fourth wave.

@Taakewalker I'm not sure about the power shot or the lazer pistol, but the One Shot skill does work with the revolver. Sorry I couldn't be much help :p

Nubies , those who play HC , go to your useraccount/username/appdata/roaming/macromedia/flashplayer/#shared opbjects. make sure u can view hidden files. copy the chat.kongregate.com folder every round, if u die, then jsut copy back, and then refresh the page, laso make sure u stock up on repair hammers and grenades at least 2-3 repair hammers slots and 1 grenade + weapon.

Vench- conrol the uy urself, set to low quality if u need to, or try non-hero mode, but have the guys that would be best at shooting air targts shoot ONLY air targets and such. it may help.

i got a very nice way of winning... im level 97 alerady... but i have a problem...
if i let the game play by it self (non Hero mode) i die... so it will be quite hard to reach hight levels...
im a sheriff and as team i have a ranger a militia and a sheriff
ranger and militia have level 30+ of reloading and use gravity gun, sheriff use auto shotgun... all of them have level 3 leech and sheriff has impact... i dont have money issue...
any tip for nonhero mode?

Does the "Power Shot" skill work with a Laser pistol or if you add a autofire mod to another non-autofire weapon?

grenade launcher? I have 2 troops with grav gun with leech3 mod. My castle is unbeatable, they can heal 100 on my wall during 1 wave:)
Btw only 1 badge missing: the impossible. How do I get that?

Pocker is right. The most money you'll ever get is with a rogue. Buy chickens, use AP for chickens and free repairs. Use your pistol for rats and small creatures, and use a rifle for everything else. Its a financially sound class. Try to get a partner with big guns and give them a grenade launcher so they can go to work. A great class indeed

Ragnarok is real good xp and money. Get a holy grail, use when first dragon shoots and kill them.
Money issues: as a rogue u will never have. As other chars always spend that 4 APs on claim title, get 1 char with the party skill "Accountant". Get muuuuuch chickens and a high lvl museum if u have enough medals.

The Ragnarok sword is only there so you can get the Ragnarok medal. If you want to try it then wait until you've pretty much become god then go for it, its also a good idea to have the Holy Grail of Jure before you try, it'll protect your castle from about 2 waves of the dragons attacks.
