one way to get as many action points you want is to first, have your castle defeated, then click carry over or continue, then save game, then go to the title screen and go back into the game and repeat as desired. each time repeated is a single action point.

Some Medals you may want to earn early:
Prayer, Provoker & Boomer (all give an +1AP chance)
Gun Mania (raises effectiveness of weaponmods 15%)
Robber (raises moneygain from robbing 25%)
Critical hit medals give bonus starting skills (second best 30 crits in 1 day/ sense+luck skill)
Class awards unlock new classes (Nobel, Sniper, Duelist, Ranger)
Perfect games raise wall absorption (second best is 7 perfect games/each+1%)
Sister bombs raise bombing strength (second best is 20 kami sisters)
Chicken awards raise egg sales (120 chickens for best/ +30%)
Days survived raise starting money (after surviving 50 days new chars start with >2k GP)
Hard Badge / +1 additional item slot (got it same time as 25 medals achievement)
Surviving Ragnarok gives you additional startskill Luck (cast it during last enemy wave and have at least 2 Holy Grails with you.)
Dunno about hardcore medals yet, sry :(

If you have a weapon that reloads one shot at a time (Such as a shotgun or rifle), instead of using the whole clip and reloading, reload imediately after each shot, you shoot barel (if any) slower, and you never have a long gap of not shooting

to start over, go to title screen, select the game you just failed and press Continue. You'll end up one night before the failed battle with full AP and state. But when you run the game again, you'll have different enemies against you, so you will have different chances to win.

the frickin carry over option doesn't let me go to battle anymore. there should be a continue if you're just having fun battling trying to beat a level, instead of having to start over. 3/5

The "Carry Over" option is bugged.
You do not get to take earned gold back with you, and you do not, in fact, gain anything except the loss of badges you otherwise would have earned.

I am on day 163 and still going (very fast and long waves 7. Hunter, Sniper, Ranger, Ranger. Cross bow, Cross bow, Magnetic, Magnetic. Make sure you have weapon with lots of Mod space. Leech, Fire Rate, Damage, Impact most important. Some Cross Bows have 5 mod spaces. Add Anti Armor. Utilize the Save game, if you have lots of AP (active skill) the shop re-shuffles new items to buy.

acually, i think rouges r the best characters because they get money bonuses(my number 1 reason 4 losing is running out of money) and if reloding is your problem then get a better reloding skill, also, having a computer with a gravity gun on your team works better than anything else, especially if you buy the villa or mod it with leech

For those having problems with later levels,make sure you have a good team!First,rogue's make horrible player characters.They are the ONLY one that has to wait a long time to reload[that is,if you use the shoot then reload thing,because it doesn't work with rogues]If you want a good team,get: a sheriff,but he's not my style so he sucks for me,A hunter,his bow gun is new player-friendly but he focuses on team skills,or a militia.Militia are good for me because 1. the Shoot&Reload works, 2. their guns are accurate enough,and deal more damage than a bow gun,and 3. they randomly throw grenades.And then,heres what team you need: A sheriff.A hunter.A militia.The last one should be a Noble/Rogue/Guardian.So,here's your party list: Hunter,Militia,Sheriff,Rogue/Guardian/Noble.Rogues,although they suck for player,are also the chief Money-makers in the game.Noble's have extra damage and accuracy.Guardians can nullify hits on the castle,and whenever an enemy hits,they get damaged also.

This game, in hardcore mode, can really challenge your patience. The impossible badge for this game is rightly classified.

Stop talking about Ragnarok we all know what it does and how to kill the dragons. Automatic weapon and Jure's blessing make the little girl happy and the dragons eat lead.

one day i had in this game: praised by women and children 3 more ap "yeah!" sudden confidence 2 more ap "oh yeah!" trip over rock lose 1 ap "waaaaaaaah" trip over another rock lose one 1 ap "man" nothing found "dang", guy made the tower better "ok i have some money to pay for the tower left over from chicken farming so i can pay for that this isn't going to bad" guy made the tower better again "darn it now i can't pay to make the tower better and i have to wait until next time"

uh, matmath, when I used it it called in at least 25 dragons and my castle died almost instantly even with jure's blessing which is supposed to negate all damage for a short while

This game is really difficult unless you know what you're doing.
But once you've got the ground rules down, this game is great.
Ragnarok is crazy! 4/5
