PERFECT SET UP. Got all mercs at day 12, grav gun at day 9, laser pistol at day 10. But guess what? At day 13, I forgot to hire henchmen. I died. =(((

@ShadowLight Redeemed didn't say you could. He's saying the he prefers the gravity guns that come with reloading. Yes they do exist. I've only seen 2 of them, both only 1 slot =/.

What the bling , was there a secret update that made autoshotty and grav gun so rare ? Day 60 HC and the shop had only 4 AutoShottys MK1 to MK4 and they all had 1 slot , and just 1 grav gun...

the best gravity guns are NOT the 6 slot ones... they are the ones that appear with Reloading mods attached XD. Although i suppose you could have both, but the odds of that are horrible... u'll probably have to restock like over 1000 times before seeing one.

A mark -11 auto-shotty shoots 34x10 that 340 damage a shot with 6.9 shots per sec so 2380 in 1 sec with Dr.Holiday it 34x15= 510, that’s 3570 per sec. And by the time you get all this gear your characters will be high lvl so they should have cool 10 and accuracy 10 so that there is almost no spread. Don’t get me wrong I love bowgun the team I beat HC day 100 for the first time with was main hunter with bowgun militia and ranger with gravs and sheriff with auto-shotty. But when I put hunter in npc mode his damage dropped below sheriff npc because he doesn’t fire as much as I did in hero mode.

@celidion at high lvls auto-shotty puts out way more damage then grav gun cause the fire rate goes up and doesn't miss suicide bombers like a bow can. Not to mention the added effects of cripple and dr holiday. Plus henchmen tend to shoot the shotty more frequently then a bow gun even when both are put on fire at will. Auto-shotty with 1 leech, 1 anti armor, and 4 damage mods will out gun any other gun of the same lvl with any mod combo you want.

o and I am on level 156..and one one badge to get!!!! chosen one how many levels to you need to go through....again I am on level 156 on hard core mode...

Party skills do NOT stack. Having 1 guy with active 10 or all guys with active 10 will not change your chances of getting more AP

2 of my guys have active 9 and i have active 7 yet i've never had more then 2 extra ap?! and its about 50/50 wether i get any extra at all.

damm,so close to begin a good,excellent game...and i like challenging games (as this one),and this is a good one.....almost.I dont like that luck factor on it.Seriusly...i got a Racknock or however you spell it on level 1.YES LEVEL ONE!!! wtf.......and its unbalanced on the enemies (if it gives you bad weapons).So,its a good game,but the lcuk factor ruins it.3/5 could be way better.

OMG the chickens are SO annoying! I was doing ok, then all of a sudden 20 chickens, 1 ballista, 5 rats, 3 barbarian dudes charge me....

@rocklee19: Believe me, Big Guns ARE fun... Really worth having someone specializing on them in your party. Gravity Gun can be a nightmare to the enemies (specially with impact and leech mods)!

Finally got to level 100 on HC, used Noble with 4 slot bowgun (couldn't find better), then Sheriff (6 slot shotgun), Ranger (freeby grav gun from the level 40 HC medal), Duelist (5 slot revolver). When using a bowgun it seperates air and ground targets, so if your cursor is over the air zone, but the flight path passes through the ground zone, it won't hit the ground units, only the air ones. My best tips, upgrade the walls, keep a chalice on hand at all times, and use party members for their party skills and each with a leech mod, not killing power.

Perfect game means you have full hp after every repair (from the repairmen) and at the end. The repairs happen at the start of each wave, before the enemies appear, but not at the end, so getting lots of repairmen pretty much means only the last wave counts... just got to make sure absolutely nothing hits u on the last wave.

yea i think thats it, but wow this game is random. i went 10 tries with henchman and lost then on my 11th try i beat it with ease, not even losing any hp

I only find that my bowgun misses enemies when I'm aiming at the sky and the enemy I'm trying to shoot is on the ground. Could that be your problem?

too hard
enemies are too many in beginning levels like lvl 11-20 it sucks
weapons are alright but i can't seem to find rocket launchers and stuff like that

By the way I can't get past day 15 ether. But, I can still see past my own shortcomings to see that this is a truly grate game.

one more thing. The randomness of the shop system adds realism to the game. In life you will not always be able to get what you want when you want it. In this game you've cut your self off from major trade routs what comes to you is what comes to you. The difference is that great heroes use the "cards they're dealt" to the fullest. If you can't do this then note my previous comment.

This game is hard, because it's meant to be. The fact of the matter is that even with difficulty settings easy is to hard for some and hard is to easy for others. So games are created extra hard and extra easy for those skill sets so that every one can find a challenging, but not impossible game. Their are plenty of "easy" tower defense games you could be playing, If you just don't have the skills for this one.
