look this game is designed for a challange if you cant play it dont give it a bad rating it requires a large amount of skill to beat its not random its very systematic the most random thing is YOU! all the weapons and mods and ap using ability things are all ordered and scaled the ragnarok and holy grail drops are random but thats not a real issue they dont do much also you can make the game easier by hiring henchmen although this is not a long term solution due to there cash cut. oh one more thing irasfel screw off man just because you cant play it doesn't mean only a handful of people can beat this i think almost all of my friends including me have about 15+ medals at the moment.

None of that even gets into the LARGE amount of weapons in this game that are useless crap, or even worse than cheaper/less skill items. Or the spending very few and precious action points only to get raped by some negative effect. None of this reflects good design.

Small amounts like THE RANDOM BULL@^$( factor, not small amounts like the game. Read.
People also tend to rate it before spending enough time on it to reveal the futility without asinine amounts of luck. There's a reason why a majority of the comments on this site and others can easily be summed up as "Too random, too hard." You can try to talk around those points all you want, but they still remain in glaring neon and 50' tall. This game is pretty on the outside, sucks you in, plays wonderfully... until you start to see the infrastructure underneath of it is made out of toothpicks.

why the hell do my troops still attack air mobs when i choose ignore air mobs...
and its not like the air mobs are isolated... there are F*ing rats right under them.

Sigh - this coulda been great. Instead it's completely crippled due to it's randomness and difficulty level. 100% tired of bothering. Sure you CAN do great - if you just happen to get the right mods, the right guns, the right recruits, if you happen to not get chicken mobbed, or suicide bomber waved into oblivion. Or if you want to play out level time after time in the hope of getting something #@^%ing useful.

LISTEN to the majority of individuals writing comments here and adjust accordingly FFS. Sorry but only a very small minority enjoys "Lol Randomcopter you die more half the time it's fun!" or "It's not hard, you just have to do EXACTLY this, this, this, this, this or you lose." in an shooter like this.
I'm really disappointed. This could have been good for a large amount of people not just a few masochists and cookie-cutters.

I would just like to remind everyone that Ragnarok is the final battle between good and evil in Norse mythology, basically the end of the world, so you shouldn't be surprised that activating ragnarok makes bad things happen to you, especially since there is a medal for "Ragnarok Survivor".
You don't get medals for surviving GOOD things.

Wow JUST realized after hours of gameplay about the whole other upgrade part, i didn't notice the 1 and 2 selection but it explains a lot now i can get MAH CHICKENS!

Another good feature would be an ability to change your allies' tactics during battle, so if you're being swarmed with air mobs you can make them focus on air mobs.

I think a priority setting for your allies would be useful. An example is: Air mobs priority, where your allies shoot at air mobs over other mobs.

im giving this game a 5/5 i mean yea i cant get very far cause im getting pwned on day 13 over and over again but im still having alot of fun playing this. plus getting head shots on the suicide bombers is the funniest thing ever

That strategy worked until level 12.
I give up with this game. Dunno if it understands the meaning of shifting gears. It's like a flirty girl who wants someone to find its identity for it. Totally obnoxious, and a horrible return on investment, even in terms of entertainment.

The hard and impossible tasks aren't worth your time.
Besides that, the game is fun. It's just that playing it on normal or difficult without using redos is a pain in the ass.

Right so things are a lot easier now that I'm using the sheriff class instead of the rogue class. As long as you reload the instant you're done shooting, ammo shouldn't run out.

You can keep playing the level without using carry over mode if you go to the first screen and load. Carry over just lets you take the money you made up to the point of death and take it with u.

How you're supposed to get a perfect game in this, I haven't a clue on either the difficult MOD (not hardcore setting).
There are other defend your castle type games out there which suffer from similar excessive difficulties, so this game shouldn't be blamed by itself.

Too many chickens. I score headshots all the time and still can't kill the enemy quickly enough even when I was lucky enough to get an smg, rifle, and smg equipped teammate by level 6. Just dunno what this game believes is supposed to be successful.

Also, This game has alot of empty files for a reason, unlcok badges witch do stuff that makes i easier next time (Example: When you beat level 10: you get 100 starting gold instead of 0, when you beat lvl 50, you get 500 EXTRA and by then it totals 1,300 starting. So you must restart alot.
