after day 40 things get a lot easier.. on normal/casual. Because by then u should have all the useful party skills and decent weapons. I had to restart wayyy more times from 1 to 30 than after it. The only hard thing after day 40 is really exploder waves.. and then those are random.. so if u die to one, u can reload and play and and eventually u dont get another exploder wave. It's survival on hardcore that's insane because the exploder waves really kick ass and you can't replay the day on hardcore

Good simple strategy: play with the easiest mods you can possibly manage (casual mode, intense early waves, community compilation mod, laptop difficulty, etc.) until you unlock a bunch of medals and all the classes. Then, I would suggest playing a Noble with a bowgun.

Hey, can anybody write simple strategy? My best result is day 29 hunter, day 11 rogue, other classes sucks. I havent good loot & money. But i shoot well. What's the problem?

Elben - most of the high score leaders are hacked. Look at the "most days survived" and compare that to total kills. Look at most money earned, and compare that to most days and most kills. There's no way you can top the most money earned and be nowhere on the days and kills list - unless you hacked the save format.

@EmanueleCiriachi I know, I've gotten a couple aimed shots 1-2 before since the extra damage is worth the very marginal decrease in fire rates. I just wanted to see if aimed shot 10 could be even remotely possible. I'm just in the experimental phase since I have all medals/badges already. Maybe I could survive with aimed shot 10 if I packed a ton of grenades.

Ok. Here's the deal, in case anyone else is having this problem. My dropdown in the game said "Empty Save", but when i selected the second one (which was my higher scoring game), it *did* bring me back to my character. It's actually day 466 - i hadn't really been paying close attention to what day it was.
The strange thing is that all the medals are gone - but it looks like everything else is ok.
It might have had something to do with the fact that i hadn't signed up here with a username until a few days ago. Maybe that did something?
In any case, i see it registered my game and put me on the all-time list.

I looked in the directories mentioned, and i guess i found my saves. elonas_idx.sol, elonas0.sol, and elonas1.sol. Why do i have no saves in the drop down here?

if you look at the high score list... hes not there. even if your saves are deleted, u dont get removed from all-time high score. Aka... he's just lying and exaggerating for attention.

Just great.... day 21 hardcore with a hunter. 8 or 9 exploding men came out. My first 3 shots was fired right throug a couple of them without hitting anything... game over :(

If you lose your save files it is not the developers fault, it is yours!!! Your save files will be deleted if you clean your computer with any registry cleaners. The saves in vista are located at C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\QAH7Q455.
The "AppData" is a hidden folder so you need to turn off hiding folders(google that) and the last one is random letters "QAH7Q455" that will be different on every computer.
Look for the Kongregate folders and just copy them somewhere else before you clean.

Wow. I'm a bit annoyed that my save just got blown away. I was on day 490, with almost 1100 chickens + 160% bonus villa + 3 badass companions. WTF?

day 99, level 83 hunter using bowgun, sheriff using combat shotgun, militia using gravity gun, noble using gravity gun. Important tips: keep reloading for maximum eggs, xp from dinner, gold from robbing, for weapons farm boss waves or keep reloading smith screen, after day 60 its on autopilot. On to impossible...

Toryama, Aimed shot with sniper is not feasible - rather, you should stock up on Fire Rate and AutoFire mods to improve firing speed.

Muhahahahaha, Chain gun is awesome... Can't wait till I get Bazooka as my secondary weapon (secret about chain gun: You need to shoot in very short and very fast bursts).

I just tried sniper on hardcore with aimed shot. Only got to day 60~ ish with aimed shot 7 before I lost. I thinK I shot once per 3-4 seconds. Talk about slooowwwww but it's a fun and very different play style.

everyone save yourself some time and do not attempt the hard or impossible badges. painfully time consumming and frustrating. too much randomness in the game, half your time is spent in town and refreshing vendors items. 3/5

@redeemed well the coins are worth keeping until weapons start to be worth more then 2.5k when u vendor it. But i barely get the high lvl i usually start new game by then

one thing thats annoying: discounts only go up to 2500 gold.. so later on u have to dump loads of those little coins on an item... :/ waste of inventory space.. eventually u just end up using them on the most barely useful things like mods instead of the weapons u want, just so u have inventory space.

@someguy34 ou are a moron if you think rag dragons are invincible. Here is a tip Bowguns with bow mastery, laser pistols, grav guns and shotguns with anti-armor turn dragons into mush.

lol @someguy34.. u're the ignorant one. The dragons summoned are in NO WAY INVINCIBLE. and they don't kill you in one shot either. My 260+ days high score survival and my 500+ hero level are enough to show i know what i'm talking about.
