Morgoth, just get repairman upgrades & leach gun mods. You'll get there. Each defender medal Gives you +1 wall absorbtion. Plus you get a reward bonus for each perfect day.

Just got the impossible badge!
Noble w/Bowgun(Impact,Leech,FireRate)
Rogue (sorta worthless actually, my mosquito killer)
Militia(Grav)
Ranger(Grav)
Bowmaster, Anti-Armor, and Active seemed to be the most valuable. I know by wave 60 that I would get the medal, and probably got about 50 perfects overall. It can be done, but you know pretty early.

Usually the boss will go rampage on you (and run forward) before you die, but on a boss day you can easily die to an off screen boss without ever hitting him with a sheriff or an impact mod if you or your minions use a bowgun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
sheriff is not required to have a boss off screen. They spawn off screen and the RNG determines how far they walk before stopping. ever notice how your minions will aim at a boss before he shows up? thats because he is there, just off screen and you have to wait for him to walk forward. if he gets shot (bowgun accident) he will stop and put up his shield while still off screen, and then kill you.

btw: got all the HC badges on my first attempt. With a Sheriff in the party! The secret of my technique was to make sub-optimal choices. Instead, I invested heavily in sheer dumb luck. There's a life-lesson in here somewhere. I'll ask my girlfriend, she's smart and beautiful. OMG, EPIPHANY! I'M A LUCKY IDIOT.

Dear Mr fmfbrestel. Mmm, now, how can I put this nicely? How about: Sheriffs or impact mods are not optimum choices for HC mode? HC is about making optimum choices.
To make optimum choices use intelligence and/or wisdom. Use them and you will tend toward the avoidance of frustration.
Incidently, you can also use those to work out "which way is up?" (Hint: the flat-earthers know)
They can also be used to resolve the eternal arse/elbow (aka **** from shinola) conundrum.
Hope this helps. + if it does ...

Bosses killing you from off screen on HC is ridiculous. Had a great HC game going, day 47 a boss off screen kills me. Its enough to make me want to stop playing the game. All i need are 2 HC medals for game completion, but im not sure if the frustration is worth it.

xdarthnaderx hacked it. You don't get 20000 days survived overnight. & no apperance on pc level ranking... Just like 60 medals when there are only 38 to collect.

building a museum can be profitable in the long run depending on how mnay medals you have i am currently generataing enough income to pay for my henchies upkeep with only 11 medals

Day 125 (HC)
Sheriff - Shotgun Mk-11, Militia - Gravity Gun Mk-26, Ranger - Gravity Gun Mk-26 and last but not least Noble - Laser Pistol Mk-15. I love this team, love this game...
Still the best Shooter on Kong :-)

Day 66 HC. Sheriff (me), Militia (assault rifle), Noble (shotgun), Duelist (revolver). Noble had poor aiming, but +45% damage and accuracy makes up for lack of Doc Holiday. Duelist owns with revolver, make sure to put a lvl2 or better reload in though. Militia never trained Burst and was a drag on me the whole time, probably should have dismissed him, but he still killed his share. I reforged my shotgun to MK9 on day 66, but didnt realize that I lacked the weapon skill for it. All i could do was throw 6 lvl15 grenades before watching my best HC attempt die in front of my eyes.

i reached hc day 100 using:
(hero) rogue using hunter's rifle
ranger with gravity gun
sheriff with auto shotgun
noble with bowgun
essentially my strategy was to use my rogue to collect lots of money. this really accelerated my early game as i focused on getting as much money as possible. i pumped my economy for a little bit but quickly started focusing on upgrading the party ability (+10% to damage per level). the sheriff with an impact mod on an auto shotgun will hit keep enemies far from your wall while the rest of your party owns them promptly. eventually my allies were killing stuff so fast i just put my main guy on automated as well and they are still scoring perfect games at day 110.
random notes that might help...
-leadership is essential
-chicken investing gets really bad at around 60, stop then.

Okay I'm playing casual mode and my save file gets erased whenever I come back and play it.. anyone know what is wrong?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you know where all the critical spots for all the enemies are, play as the Rouge class and use accurate weapons like Revolvers and Rifles to score said critical hits. This way, you can keep a high accuracy percentage and get massive amounts of money at the same time. Have teammates that use rapid and area weapons to help bring down the monsters' health. 5/5.

I think the best starting class is the Hunter cuz he's got the Bowgun. With this weapon, you don't even have to aim, just fire wildly in the direction your enemies are headed in. Bowgun is also the ONLY weapon that counters Ballista (you know, those things that shoot bolts and stuff) in my opinion

trick to getting ragnorak- get a guardian maximize nullify go to the fight activate ragnorak at start kill dragons. A snipe helps too get him with a sniper rifle and power shot and one shot and all that stuff max. Also don't use it till you are at about day 25 and about lvl 30.

Kirkinspace... No duh! I do it with anyone. it is called bonus starting money and as I have survived to wave 50, it is pretty easy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the trick with using ragnarok short before the end of the day ist working for me... seems like the day wouldnt end as long as the dragons are alive

one way to get as many action points you want is to first, have your castle defeated, then click carry over or continue, then save game, then go to the title screen and go back into the game and repeat as desired. each time repeated is a single action point.
