Very nice game! I rate 5/5......even though it ain't perfect, but because very fun and has some RPG elements. Which is why I love the game Borderlands, one of the best games out there.....but thats a story for another time. I would of liked this more if there was some kind of story and you wasnt pinned up in your castle trying to defend it.....it should of been kinda free rome and stuff - And yes i know i put the wrong kinda rome there, just too lazy to change it, even know this took longer, lol - overall very nice and fun game, just after a while too much of the same thing........ I had fun though!

@Zythum : You'll get the sword if you keep playing. It's just a rare random drop that sometimes you'll get every other level, and other times you'll never see at all.

I sold my Ragnarok since I got it at like level 10. Now I'm almost at 100 and haven't gotten it back. Any got Ragnarok twice in the same game?

@PosionFang Like PossibleCabbage said, museum 1 is about the only upgrade worth it. It increases upkeep, but gives very marginal returns. With all medals it gives 272~.
@PossibleCabbage I know little girls are pretty much only for income later on, but I've been experimenting around militia and rangers the past week trying to use little girls and no gg. They scale very well, and a cluster of them is guaranteed 1 hit kill on most enemies, even bosses if they're not blocking. It's just more interesting then watching 3-4 gravity balls on the screen killing everything once you're rampaged and have 50+ reloading.

The museum isn't very useful, I wouldn't it more than once. I have all but two medals, and I only get 200 or so gold per day.

I don't think little sisters are sufficiently useful to give up using gravity guns and bowguns for. So if you plan on using them, little sisters are just there for love income.

I'm 5-starring this... not because it's perfect, it definitely has a few issues, but this is the longest I've spent playing a flash game and enjoying it in a good while.
Also, really nice to see that the developer is coming out with balance updates and such.
Once you get used to the idea that you need to unlock the medals in an easier difficulty before moving on, it's not nearly as overwhelming, but the learning curve is a bit steep, when combined with the sheer luck needed.

Has anyone been successful as a ranger on hardcore? I seem to die around day 25~. It's pretty hard to not use gravity gun. Seems so much easier to just fire and watch things die, but it gets in the way of little sisters.

ok this is madness. could only sustain my party to lvl 52 hardcore mode before everything falls apart...
Moral of the Story: Chickens, Sisters, and the skill "Love" are very important. and 50 chickens on day 50 is not gonna cut it.

I have to agree with some of the comments I've read. The game is fun so far, at day 9, but it's extremely difficult to survive for long.

you don't need medals to unlock the other classes - you just need to reach level 10 with its corresponding base class.

All of you that gave a low score because of difficulty: either try to read one of the many strategy guide, or at least consider the mods that make it easier - you should penalize a game just because it's challenging, especially if you didn't fully learned all its mechanics.

i guess its not for day 11, its for later level where u got many tanks balista and dragons. its one of a few critical asset to bring me to day150 :)

u can also use cripple on siege weapon, cripple with shotgun slow large unit significently. the slow effect is multiplied by the spread bullets from shotgun. it will take them ~20s to get to mid field and start firing, at that time range, gravity gun can easily take care of them

@Poison : Chickens are for long term cash. You should buy a partner pretty much as soon as you can to help you out. If you start out with a little girl, dismiss her because her stats are usually 0/0 meaning useless. Hire someone that compliments the class you picked. Since nobles can use any weapon, the easiest way to kill catapults when they start coming at level 11 is to either buy grenades, or use a hunters rifle (rifle 1) and aim for the catapults weak spot. You can usually kill them with 3-4 hits on an unmodded rifle, faster if you're rampaged.

I am having trouble findning a strategy that works. I can get all perfect lvls with a noble until lvl 10 when the boss lvl comes and then the catapults. I have trouble getting enough money to buy what I need. Should I just spend all of my money on chickens for a while?

looking for good advices? here u r: spend AP ONLY on restocking, refreshing, collecting eggs, dinner, search town! spend money ONLY on: chickens till they cost 600$, repair, weapon, reforge, mods, recruit, sandbags, trainers, maybe some repairmans and storage

to all hard-core players. Just go into your chat.kongregate folder and do a manual back-up every 5 levels or so. That way you won't lose EVERYTHING
