how come focus on skills no longer works? this game has so much potential but with all the flaws it's upsetting. their should be a better way to get weapons. this game consist of to much luck as well. you should be able to pick youe recruits or ar least make it less ap to refresh. well anyway i am done with this game for the lack of challenge and dependence on luck!!!

@YouTookMyName: That's being worked on :S sorry i reported it to Noa yesterday, the medal data is partially intact :S not sure if Noa can enable the game to recover data so don't save over your best slots. /// @Pikachuthe3: Ragnarok is a sort of apocalypse in Norse mythology, the name itself is a warning -.- /// @Grimm357: I understand you being upset but please don't post abusive insults towards the author.

Just a few ideas noa,
Recycle gun should be more like 1 or 2 AP or just gold, this is because it will never be used other than to get the medal otherwise (which gives a mod bonus to everyone playing at home).
I think you should be able to have a bit more say in the skills your teammates get, cause at the moment there is still to much luck to it. Maybe be able to choose 3 skills that they are not allowed to level up or something.
Drops should also scale more with what day you are on, especially the shitty statue drops and the like, as they are worth nothing by the later days.
Thanks :)

day 52 with lvl 44 rogue lvl 43 hunter lvl 48 ranger and lvl 22 noble lol.....this game is awesome but i can't play it for too long because after a while it gets super boring. I reccomend for beginners to the game to go for rogue or duelist. yw for the info

this game is great, but far too much is left up to chance, and balance is needed. There is almost no point to guns that dont splash or have auto fire.
Refreshing recruits/shop items should only cost 1 ap.

I love all the modifications you've made to the game, and thank you profusely for helping this game live up to what was initially just potential. Great work, and I can't wait to see what else you're able to come up with.
Also, rapid-crossbow+2 lv. 3 fire rate mods+lv. 3 damage mod=obscene.

@selkie210: (& people having trouble)
For a 1st character start a Rogue and buy up Sense, Luck, Small Guns (Killer once you get it) and use an SMG. Sense gives you lots of crits, SMGs pump out lots of bullets, and the Rogue money bonus on crit plus any exp bonus from Killer will have you rolling in cash and XP rather quickly. Rogues get a Guardian helper too, have them focus on Defender, which gives a chance to nullify incoming damage. After that save your cash and buy both House tower upgrades as soon as you can, and bring in a Sheriff and someone who can use Big Guns (Militia is okay, Hunter or Ranger are often better). From there you should be in pretty good shape.

I think this is one of the best games ive played in along time, it is not to hard it just takes time and skill proper party planing im at lvl 152 and can taunt 4 times killem all and get 10k reward money im my thoughts it needs to be a bit harder.

Just a hint to everyone struggling, you should play normal mode, get as many medals as possible before the waves become impossible then start again. Rinse and repeat. I find the best character choices to be the Ranger or the Noble equiped with big guns. The same for your hirelings, big guns (HMG's and Gravity Guns) work a treat. Leech mod is also essential!

selkie210: I'm on day 29 now and all I can say is... practice. Aside from all the strategies you learn, you eventually just get really really good at shooting things.

@ Sticklesticks: I believe fame speeds up the next time you can get a new title.
@Razrkillr: You need to buy chickens and museum upgrades to get more money. Also be smart when hiring npcs/fire the old one if you need to. This is especially important at high levels when the npcs already have a lot of skills so skill slots have been taken up. I specifically waited for one with Negotiator and Engineer. Furthermore, the skill taunt I think is extremely useful. Combined with AP increases you can boost your money from one battle by over 5k.

They need to add a setting where all the teammates target out the suicide jumpers. That's the only thing that ever gives me real problems.

Improvements plz. The store frankly sucks. the guns worth 4k are sold as 500gp is totally unfair. not everyone can get the party skill that give a decent pay. You can fix this by allowing NPC Party to gain party skills with a Focus Party Skills button would be helpful. Also wtf is a sister and why would i want to blow her up?

This game is so addicting, i finally found the best one ever, sherriff. This is because i can micro the original shotty really well and i beat Ragnarok with a combat shotty. i switch between the 2. My guys have so many party skills at maxed 10 its not even funny. NPC party is Lazer, Grav Gun, Sniper. Currently working to get past 52 and have only hired henchmen if i taunted them 6 times and cant make it past because of the flying dragons. stupid flying drags.

@ricky: there are SEVERAL games that use sprites so it is in no way copying pokemon. And if they did rip it off something, it would be Mystic Quest for the SuperNes...

@Trickysticks: yeah that's a little annoying at times just make sure you're aiming for the torso or the very tip of the head in between that area and it seems to happen a lot.

This game has a great concept and is pretty addictive. However the difficulty level is quite out of balance I think. Im on day 40 and it is really disappointing to get a useless Lv1 Pistol as a reward. -_- It seems to me that a major RPG element - the possibility to leveling up without advancing in the game story - was overlooked. A "training" option, with lower XP and rewards would probably be welcome. This way, the game would be easier without forcing me to build the house early on. Great game!!

Ragnarok is the Norse end of the world where the ice giants descend from the mountains and battle the gods... in the game, you has to kill a boat load of dragons =]
