It seems that clicking to hire a mercenary AFTER you would have already hired one, it will still bring you up the "The henchmen requires half your mission reward".

@muppetglory start with hunter class is a MUST. Save money and upgrade Smith ASAP and use restock to try and find a good rapid bowgun (4-5 slots is best but get 1 with 1 slot if u see it). Fire your "little girl" npc when you see a good militia with good aiming whenever possible. Focus on getting Cripple Shot and Bow Master skills NEVER get aimed shot or scavenger, both hurt u more than it helps. Get like lvl 1 looter, trainer, repairer if u need and rob the museum if u need money.

Still way too hard...Casual player (especially in casual mode) should be able to get to level 20 without resorting to bugs

Anyone complaining that this game is too hard is really bad at this, or unlucky. I managed to get to the point where my three teammates can kill off everything by themselves, and I can idle. Hahaha! Hint: Two use lazer pistol, one a gravity gun. And always try to get upgraded versions of guns to constantly increase damage output. I'm glad to see this game is being worked on constantly and updated, I'll bump it up to 4/5 since the game is being updated thoroughly. Only missing the hardcore medals and the final endurance chosen one.

What does "-You will get 1/2 AP from your Active Skill. But you always get full AP." in the community mod mean? Anyway, it keeps getting better and better!

-Piple, maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to me that if with 60 chickens, you're only getting double the $ that you'd get with 30... that it would take a ridiculous number of days to pay for the initial cost of the chickens.
-elonashoota: Thanks, that's good to know in terms of my gameplay, but I find it disappointing overall. Why incorporate upgrades if they are minimally essential?

fun game. my advice is if you are struggling, dont' select carry over just go back to the main menu and try again. there is so much variability in levels you may get a lucky one that lets you go forward.

Oi Askhere use a sherif and get the skill for extra shots ..Dr. something .. use the tighter cross hair mod and you will get past level 11 I promis you .. got to day 36 level 22 with my first sherif.. i have since won in casual

That said, I do like the game and I sense that I'm missing some strategical aspect to the whole thing. Could somebody give a few suggestions for what to focus on in the first 5 days or so? It's not usual that I rely on comments for games on here, but I really would like to see what this game has to offer.

@muppetglory you're buying too many castle upgrades which increases your daily upkeep cost. im at day 155 and I only have lvl 2 looter, lvl 2 repair, lvl 3 trainer. I never bought chickens until day 100+

Alright... I've played this game about 12 times now, and I am becoming more and more disappointed. Despite the fact that the cost of higher upgrades increases drastically, it seems that after expenses I get less and less money each day. Also, why is the only stat difference between a lvl 1 rifle and a level 6 rifle a mere 13 damage? By the time I can equip a lvl 6 rifle, that difference is incredibly minor. I've tried buying chickens, but after about 30 or so, it costs $300 for a chicken but I only recieve about $300-500 each day from ALL the chickens, so I don't see how that's financially sensible... does this change with many more chickens? I also rarely see the sense in buying anything unless I have a special coin.

squirrelbait, if you use firefox (and most likly also IE) try to hold down "ctrl" and scoll with your mousewheel, that should zome in/out, just remember to reset before starting to browse the web again :)

Im lvl 137 using rapidbowgun mk9 five slots, four with lvl 3 dmg mod and one with lvl 3 fire rate mod. NPCs all lvl 103: 2 sheriffs with autoshoties 1 militia with gravity gun. I think you should switch laser pistol with a grav gun it owns and she has 5000 kills

have 3 people (including yourself) with laser pistols and the 4th a grav gun. its easy enough to where u can just put your character on fire at will and leave for the whole thing.

I really wish there was a way to make the flash widow larger. getting crits is really difficult when a sheep's head is less than 2mm across

Sorry, developer. I'm giving up on your game. I get the feeling that. although there are many options, there is really only one strategy that leads to success. I don't feel like wasting any more of my time trying to figure out just what it is I need to do to make it past level 11 with any character/weapon/entourage/upgrades. I'm really curious how well you do at your own game. Or does knowing what you consider to be the "correct" development path make this game super easy for you?

This game, is Sweet. First class i recommend is the Militia because its a perfect aim class. Most of your shots will go hit and kill for the first four rounds. If you don't feel like you can solo a big mob, go Rogue. Its weaker, but it has a pistol and a inniate teammate, a Little Girl, which i think is very powerful. Then once you get to day 20, start a new game and use Noble, because Nobles gain nice exp and the +300 starting gold helps alot. After that your on your own. Explore this game, it has alot of potential. I spent 5 hours on this game and none of it was wasted. I look forward to a part two noana. Your an excelent flash game maker, and if i could get some kreds, I would give them. Good job on your flash game!

I can't get my character to throw grenades all of a sudden. They are equipped in slot 2, and I have 4 of them. I've used these same grenades on other levels, but suddenly on 11 he won't throw them.

As far as I've noticed Element, reloads CAN be canceled with a click (so it is with rifles anyway). I would often wear out my whole clip without realizing it, click like mad trying to kill, and be firing one shot at a time and then trying to reload again.

Joraoul it says right on the class description what the Adrenaline does. It goes up when you're not shooting and goes down when you reload. The higher is it the more damage you do.

What good does it do anyone to auto-save before starting a new level? If you haven't made good choices in town, you don't get a chance to go back and rethink your strategy for spending your AP and money. The auto-save NEEDS to be in a separate slot from the player's manual save.

Downgrading this game from a 3/5 to a 2/5. Played it a bit more, because it seemed to have some neat potential. Unfortunately, there are too many things wrong with this game to make it truly enjoyable. Aiming is completely screwed up. Many types of weapons are completely useless. Also, many types of NPC's don't contribute anything to the fight. Most of this game is pure luck instead of being a skill based game. If you enjoy constantly having to replay levels then go ahead and play. Otherwise, just wait until the developer fixes the balance issues.

your latest update made the game much more playable. If you can fix the Bug with the Sisters, and change a small thing in reloading, the game will be great.
Pretty much, a reload should be capable of being canceled if you click. so, for instance, If I reload a pistol with 2 ammo left, and suddenly a scuicide bomber pops up, I could cancel my reload to quickly attack him, then attempt to reload again. This would be a very appreciable addition for me.

anybody else go to upgrade a weapon, get told the cost was undefined, upgraded anyways, and wound up with infinite cash? cause it just happened to me. =D
